The handles make it easy to apply torque to more easily screw things into more resistant materials... Although I recommend drilling a hole where you will screw things before trying to force screws in...

I got this similar tool from the discount display at Home Depot for less that $4. I like the tool, but not for this total cost.

Yeah, although I suppose if you have a power drill and the right bits, what's the point in buying an extra screw driver? Just mount the bit into the drill and drill the hole. Then mount the screwdriver bit and drive the screw in... I guess that makes buying this tool a little unnecessary.
