It doesn't say you want 1 bag of crap, or 1 bag with 3 craps.

It's not what it says... but what I interpret it to mean.

It's confusingly worded, at any rate.

No sticker shock here. Got'em when I wanted 'em and now I am getting three of them. You know....3 beg of crop. E and O replaced the A.

Story of my life, although I must also add that was the smoothest bandolier of carrots run I've seen yet. Thanks Woot!

Hopefully, we'll hear from TPW's replacement in this thread and end the mystery of who it is!

I, for one, am taking a moment of sad silence in respect for all that TPW did for us through the years. I think it is a fitting thing to do during this 1st WootOff since his departure for greener (manure laden) pastures.

Yep, that's how it's been every time for me, too. Still, you have to get the initial page request in at just the right time or it's already too late.

This time it was pure luck. I had a feeling it would drop after the speaker/charger, but then the safty vest came up and I figured it would another hour or so. On a whim, I decided to check back to see how the vest was doing...and BOOM, B to the O to the C.

So, I missed this one, but got the last two.. Based on the contents of THOSE, I'm not terribly disappointed.

HOWEVER... I am curious to see what this first "post TPW" bag will contain.. I hope it's extra special crappy as a sort of 'adios' from TPW..

Just really damn lucky: Random Crap: 2/15/08, 2/19/09, 12/25/09, 4/1/10, 12/1/10, 12/25/10, 4/1/11, 5/11/11, 9/14/11, 10/12/11, 12/25/11

Me too. I've never gotten one that was worth less than $8 to me, in all honesty. Teh Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia is always a bargain in that sense.

I got a media player once, couldn't get it to work. Gave it to a friend of mine who is an electronics guru, he took it apart, reattached the loose hard drive ribbon, and it works great! Have movies, music, pictures, everything on it, it is great to take on the plane when traveling. Definitely worth eight bucks!

Sooner or later, it all comes down to money...

Tiers? No, what we get is all very random.

They always do it in the afternoons of the last day during woot-offs. Amazon didn't have anything to do with that.

How come the Barf on Carpet is almost exclusively offered in the late afternoon East Coast time - never at a time those of us who live here actually have jobs and are commuting home or still slavving at work can order one...just sayin'. Be nice to once in a while offer it after 9 EDT time so even PST worker peeps can have a chance from home...or even early AM for the late nighters once in a while...losing interest in WOOT-Offs becasue of this, quite frankly - can only get so many Monkeys or Dysons, after all...

Where is this place?

I got mine! My birthday is coming up in a few weeks please make it awesome!

By the way despite your best efforts at giving me the crappiest of crappy last time it ended up being a huge hit with my nieces who were in town for the first time in years... well since right after they were born!

It was a great visit "meeting" them for the first time and letting them open up my crappy Big ol' Cornucopia filled with little girl stuff.

I was a bit disappointed but once I saw their smiling faces I realized I couldn't have asked for a better Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia at the time!

But this one's for me.. please?!?

Smoothest Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia purchase I've ever had. Last few times it kept timing out until it denied the purchase. This time I just had to be patient and not a single timeout!! Not sure what server upgrades you did (to the Amazon cloud maybe?), but it was much better experience!

Ah. Well, the woot forum automagically replaces certain terms with other phrases (you can click on 'reply' after such a post to see what the person actually wrote) including any relating to this topic, so folks come up with their own, too, since it's going to be replaced, anyway.

I don't spend $8 in the hopes that I get a TV or pallet of action figures. Instead, I got a few weeks of anticipation. From the time my order goes through, to when I get the shipping place holder, to the moment it arrives in the mail.

It's $8 worth of fun & surprises.

ME TOO, except maybe more annoyed than hacked off, and anyway it saves me the aggravation of clicking and waiting for nothing, once again confirming that my isp is not worthy of the bounty of cool.

Buut, next woot-off I'll make sure the kids have an extra snack, just in case I'm late.

Woot! munges many words in posts; the container of warehouse sweepings would show up as something else if you enter its true name in a post, so many folks just come up with their own versions so they don't get changed.

The next line says the real name of this prize; you'll see what Woot! changes it to:

Big ol' Cornucopia

Look upon my Avatar, ye whiny, and despair!

As one who took years to get one, I can say that I am not always RIGHTBY my computer when the Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia goes up. Many times I return and it is up, but alas, too late for me to get one. And yes, the area of the country probably has something to do with it too.

So it does take some of us years to get one, but we are elated when it finally happens. And that's worth the wait for us! It's about the chase...
