Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Is a guitar a gadget? Then that.

I refuse to answer on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

A NAS with gigabit ethernet, external USB ports (to share external drives, printers or whatever), RAID5, at least 2TB drive support, a media server, and at least four drive bays (six would be better).

(Drives would be nice too, but not necessary.)

I'm in the market for a seltzer maker. and not one of those crappy soda stream things. I mean a real seltzer maker, like the kind that clowns used to use.
Woot, please sell me an inexpensive seltzer maker with a glass bottle.

I am going to ask him for a machine that makes gold out of water.

If Santa is real, so is my wish.

Christmas is for children. With the exception of my niece, all my family members are adults. I'll gladly get something for my niece. Unless a family member truly needs something that they cannot afford, they aren't getting anything from me.

It's the thought that counts. Obviously you're thoughtless. Wow. This is family. Not coworkers. Even if you just get them a 10$ gift card it says "Yes, I was thinking about you." Do you send christmas cards or is that a waste of money to you too?

There is this thing, it's called the Christmas Spirit. You may want to look into it. Unless you're jewish, in which case you need to seriously get a chanukah bush.

Maybe you just worded that wrong, but really it just makes me feel sad for you. When my sister was little, she'd draw me a couple pictures for christmas and to this day they remain some of my favorite gifts because she put her heart into it. You don't necessarily need to spend money on them, but do something that says you think they're special.

Kindle Fire.

My wife has a laptop that she sits with all the time while we watch TV together. I have my smartphone but I'd love to have something bigger for web browsing and reading books. Since all I need is a wifi connection, the Kindle Fire is perfect.

A donation to either Charity Water which helps provide clean water in third-world countries, or Second Harvest which addresses hunger in the US.
