Got mine today I'm in Michigan, East Lansing area. Arrived a day earlier than expected. I have to go to work soon but I can't wait to come back and play with it.

I guess lesson learned to: buy from someone who you can actually talk to, and with faster shipping.

Just log in to your Woot account and you can find your order number by first clicking on "My Account" and then clicking on the "Samsung Galaxy Tab" listed under Item. It will then display the order number.

It now should also list a tracking # since it was posted that ALL have been shipped!

I hate FedEx Smart Post! So terrible! It keeps lying about arrival dates.

Does anyone know if the iphone charger will work with galaxy 10.1 for charging? I have lots of accessories I purchased when I had the iphone and would be nice not to have to buy more accessories.

thanks

I received my two Galaxy Tab's today. They arrived a short time ago. I need to leave work soon so I can play with the new toys. :D

I am in Michigan and they were originally scheduled to be delivered tomorrow but they arrived a day early.

I got my one today. Does anyone know how long I need to charge it before I can turn on? Can I turn on it with the power line on?

ILGal

quality posts: 20 Private Messages ILGal

Picked it up at neighbor's house. Looks brand new. Fired right up (battery is only about 20% charged, but enough to play around with it a little). Screen is gorgeous. Lighter and more slender than an iPad (Gen 1).

Looking forward to getting to know this fine-looking device!

I had to press and hold the 'on' switch (my first try, at just pressing, didn't work).

Tracking says it is in my mail box. But so many times they
Put the key to the pkg box in someone else's mailbox. Something under
20 bux I can deal with. But not 324.

Beautiful screen, fast, 90% charge. After 15 minutes the screen shows "static" with vertical shifts, glitches. After 30 minutes nearly unusable. It's going back to the refurb co. tomorrow!

I guess I should have paid closer attention. I didn't realize this thing wasn't supported through Samsung. Didn't even come with half decent instructions for those of us who have not used Android before and you can't get the manual through Samsung because the S/n for the refurb device doesn't match their system.

Unimpressed with Android. Clunky and unintuitive with no hints of how things work and apparently no on-device help. Sending it back ASAP.

Still patiently waiting ... updated FedEx tracking info says it was delivered to local post office late yesterday, so I probably have a 50/50 chance of actually getting it today.

Go to settings, and "about tablet" or something like that, there should be a system updates button.

On FedEx site click on Track then in the second list from the left click on Track by Reference.
Then leave Account # blank, put in the reference number in the second box. In the 3rd put 12/1 or 2. Then in 3 put United States and finally put your Zip Code in the last box and see if you get some additional information.

Well you are one of a very few who appear unhappy. Sorry to hear it. Did you try this link: http://www.mybullfrog.com/wp-content/themes/Blank-1-right/manuals/sam_galaxy_tab_10_english.pdf provided by ILGal? It's not the exact manual, it's for the 4G model, but I'm sure it will answer all the "how to" questions you might have.

It appears you signed up just the day of this deal, sorry your first Woot! wasn't more memorable. On the bright side, I bet you could sell it on Ebay or Craigslist and make a few bucks on it, rather than incurring the cost of shipping it back.

Either way I suggest trying it for a few days to really try to get a feel for it. Just my $0.02.

I received mine yesterday, was extremely happy opening the box and then my surprise…
… the tablet comes with the “Newton ring” defect already on it, I didn’t even turn it on and the damn thing was in the middle of the screen.

I don’t really want to return it, I love the tablet and more at that price. I hope woot will lead me to who can fix it.

Looks like turning it off and putting it in the fridge for a few minutes will fix the problem Do you live in a warm area and it was out in the mailbox by chance? I live in Michigan and my tablet was ice cold when I got it lol.

I got mine today in VT. It was scheduled for the 12/9.

I never purchased anything from Woot b/f and was a little hesitant about a refurb and Woot's stringent return policy. I am quite relieved that the tablet arrived in pristine condition and perfect working order. I will definitely be using Woot again -- as long as I don't mind waiting a little to receive the item.

I just got my hands on this gorgeous tablet only to notice the 'oil slick' in the middle of the screen, when I turned it off. Since then, I've read page after page of world wide consumers who have had the same problem. Solutions: 1. Use hair dryer in the charge port. 2. Put it in the fridge. 3. Move to a dry climate.
Seriously?
Is there a real solution from other Woot users? What do I do now? Return and hold out for a better tablet?

After waiting ALL day for the mail, my box finally arrived. As soon as I heard the mail truck up the street I got up in stood in the front door to wait like a kid in a candy store! I'm hesitant to open the box, dreading the possibility of the "spot". Well here goes...

....looks pristine! No rings on the screen, no blemishes anywhere. My leather case from Ebay has been here waiting for a few days and it fits like a glove. VERY HAPPY :-D

Fed Ex Smartpost is making me hate life. Estimated delivery was the 6th. Well, don't have it now. It sat in the Atlanta office for 2.5 days until it was being shipped to local post office. Now "in transit" for almost two days. Hopefully will get it by the 8th - that's only two days AFTER estimated delivery.

Overall things are working good with my two devices. One was for me and the other for my wife. Mine has a small scratch on the screen. I tried using a soft cloth to see if it would diminish or go away but no luck. It doesn't stop me from using the device and I mostly don't see it but I know it's there. Ugh!

My wife's tablet so far won't charge. When I am home later I will try my charger with her tablet to see if it is just the charger. But it was at 62% last night and it was plugged in all night. I woke up this morning and it was still at 62%. Hopefully this is not a major issue. Anyone else see this problem?

Also, my tablet was packaged in the box looking like it was used. My wife's had the plastic protector wrapping around the device as if it were brand new. So these are not being sent out in the same condition from tablet to tablet. As long as it works and has no defects (both might) then I don't care about plastic wrapping. Just wanted to point this out in case others had the same problems.

Go to settings->about device->software update. Or if you want a rooted, stripped-down version of 3.2 go here (involves a little work):

After shows green man, it repeats to show samsung sign again and again, but just not the color screen. Is the OS problem or hardware problem? Anyone can help me? Thanks!
