Psssssst. It's 4 sites: woot, wine, kids, and for the first time, home.

Welcome to the day shift! You usually up this late? Wine doesn't count for everybody...some of us live in states with restrictive commerce laws...or maybe it's a strong liquor store lobby...either way, we're out of it :-(

I bought her for a new computer in the garage, I think she will be fine for that. For business use, well maybe a good back up drive for your other main computers with her 1T drive. Just a thought.

Wish it came with a blue-ray, oh well guess along with a higher watt power supply will also add a Blue-ray.

Don't be surprised the first thing to go wrong with this unit is the power supply...
(Might be 5 years!)
250w is not much at all, hopefully there is a higher watt power supply for the unit.

Peace!.

Whoa, I hate I missed this HP i3 desktop deal. Guess I'll have to wait for an HP i5 or i7 desktop unless they decide to recycle this deal again.

Well, I finally got around to hooking this thing up and nothing. DOA. Green light on the power supply is all I get, and I lose that if I press the power button. My first and last refurb computer purchase. My first HP computer purchase and likely my last. I've emailed woot. Let's see what happens.

So I heard back from woot. They have washed their hands of it and sent me to HP. Fortunately I decided to try a different power supply. That solved my problem with the pc. I am however enormously disappointed in woot.

HP forgot to pack a keyboard in my box. :/

I never heard back from Woot after Woot confirmed my communication. I had to send it back to HP since it was defective. (But at least it did have the keyboard in the box).

Woot has a serious problem on its hands since it did not respond to my RMA request even though it confirmed receiving it.

Hmm... it looks like we did reply to your email and provided you with an RMA. Maybe check your junkmail folder and let us know if you still didn't get the RMA.

After I posted that I had not heard from Woot I re-emailed my request and Woot said it was sorry and sent me an RMA.

I only wish I could say that HP was as helpfull. There position is that if the PC won't work with a retail version of Windows 7 that is my problem, not theirs. Is there a new OEM Windows 7 certification from Microsoft that allows this; I don't think so.
