Just bought one of these the other day off Woot. When it arrived I was suprised at how small it was. It almost looked miniature. Dispite that it works great! You will just have to empty more often.

I would not suggest getting a vacuum as a christmas present for you wife tho.

Just bought the DC25 All Floor new at Dyson for about $350 so this looks like a great deal. That thing vacuumed up more dirt and pet hair on a seemingly clean carpet then I really care to think about.

I got one of these through Woot and it is great but way too much for my small one story house. It wants to clean stairs and more carpet then I have. Easy to use and clean, and gets all the pet hair off the carpet and tile.

Does anyone own one of these? Can you tell me how well it works? And also the whole potentially scratching floor thing is why I haven't gotten one yet...

Does anyone want to continue the discussion about the Roku and maybe comparisons with the Wii, PS3 for streaming as well as DVR's and BluRay with Wifi?

I mean, white tundra frost can we discuss about yet ANOTHER Dyson refurb.

This vacuum really sucks. Even so, I'm of the opinion that Dyson Vacuums are the Apple Computer of the suction world. In general, they are no better really than any other quality vacuum, and have similar failure rates. They just have way better marketing that gives people the 'feeling' that they are better products.

Kill me.

I originally joined Woot to purchase a refurbished Dyson DC25 ball vacuum cleaner ($250)... but now that I have one, I cringe every time I see yet another Dyson product on Woot.

Any chance at nifty gaming electronics today? Like a Nintendo ds or Xbox game or something? I'm not a big fan of vacuums myself.

My wife and my dog are similar in that they share an unfounded yet intense fear of the vacuum cleaner.
