Found better quality knives at Cabelas for only about $10 more.

Horrible reviews? There are 2 at the link you posted. Come on now! And the first one admitted he's hardly used it. I have a folding SOG knife and I love it. I've had it for years. It's a replacement for the one I lost. So I guess my only complaint is that it doesn't follow you home.

Now if I can just get something for toasting unruly butter, I'll be all set!

YAY! Our house too!
Nice blade but illegal in the state of Texas. anything blade over 4.5 inches is illegal to own or sell here.
Can't say for sure but it doesn't look like it's full tang. Looks kinda chincy.

Not all SOG knives are equal quality.
in for 1! gonna cut christmas trees with this!
deals.woot! appears to be gone (500-ed). I hope this doesn't portend problems for woot! this afternoon...
panthiest wrote:That sharpener looks like it would be painful to use.... Is there some trick to working with one that small?
It's only for sharpening the serrations, not the entire blade (although it could probably do in a pinch). If you've never tried to sharpen a serrated knife before, you can't use a standard whet stone.
I would have a problem if they were used!
I wonder if "seal black" is just the color? Cant imagine real deal seals using this cheap Chinese attempt at weaponry
One useless one-star review, and one decent three-star review == "horrible"?
One for me, one for my brother's Christmas gift. Excellent.
Nguyenforthewin wrote:I'm in for one only if it is Bear Grylls approved.
It's not. He has his own line he'd like to approve first.
panthiest wrote:Not all SOG knives are equal quality.
Since I have no experience with newer ones, then I'll not argue. And I will say I agree with whomever said it looks chincy. Is that even how you spell chincy?
re: not a good dive knife thanks! good tip
at least it will work on your mac...
Skip it.

Ah, makes sense. I've never tried sharpening a serrated knife, but I can't imagine having that stick would give me the will to do it :P

Nah. They're on it.
Dear Woot, Please begin selling things that people buy fast, so I can get my Bag of Coal, and not look at a picture of a knife all day. Grishfish
People sure are xenophobic when it comes to their items of overcompensation.
teenracer6 wrote:I cant imagine why they would sell this if it had a law against it.
There's lots of things in the world that you can purchase and posses, but not carry on your person.
skildude wrote:Nice blade but illegal in the state of Texas. anything blade over 4.5 inches is illegal to own or sell here.
Odd. The rest of the world's impression of Texas is the hypocracy between religion and filandering and strip clubs, while there is lawlessness of shoot-outs between bar patrons on their way to a nightly bbq at the electric chair. So a 4.5in blade is illegal there? Wow.

Thx inky, good to know!

In GA at least it has to be shorter than 4" or else you need a concealed weapons permit.
How 'bout blood?
I can't get on the Bag of Coal game. Slow satellite internet I guess. Wish I had a Sog knife to speed it up.
