Who might use one of these?
- Folks with old laptops (I used one for a while in a work laptop);
- Folks with newer laptops out of warranty with faulty ethernet ports;
- And if you paint/decorate the external portion of the card so it looks more like a brass pipe vs. black plastic, steampunk aficionados.

I actually still have one of these from about 6 years ago when I owned a thin notebook that had no ports except for the pcmcia hole and a single usb.

When I still had that laptop the card worked surprisingly well and fast. I highly recommend it.....if you can find some use for it today
