If you scroll over my name, you'll see I've been here a while. In all that time, I've seen it happen once. That was before Amazon partnered with w00t.

Yes I remember that one but they only did limited numbers. Still didn't get one... never have since 2005. Timed out every time

You all need to buy three each. Give to friends as Christmas presents. Great for car camping or lining the walls of your crazy room.

Kippyj! :3 Finally got those skimpy models you were talking about!

Also - Those pictures are way too small for me to see let alone for my boss to see if he happens to stop on in.

Where is the woot-off stuff everyone is interested in for Christmas? Refurb tablets, media players, netbooks, laptops, etc? I thought for sure we'd see refurb playbooks, galaxy players, etc, on the cheap. Maybe I missed them. Even flashlights are a good Christmas buy...no guy ever has enough quality flashlights, really. I mean, this IS the last Christmas, Woot, considering that 12/21/12 nips the next one in the bud unfortunately. Pull out the stops!

I don't even know what to say to that except that, evidently, I have the Irish luck. In all my 200 and something purchases, around 35 of them were randombaggies. My first was, but it was on a dare from my daughter. I don't even really try any more since we no longer get printers or roombas.

As for the limited number time, I seem to recall is was around 2500 each time, and I think they actually did it three times. I'm guessing they were soothing their servers, HA!

Well, you should've bought one of the panic buttons. The last one I bought actually switches you right back to what you were doing BEFORE your boss came sneaking up behind you!

The package doesn't show a cord. Is it battery powered or just magic?

magically takes batteries but they forgot to let you know that.
If you look at the picture you will see the on off switch.
and a panel which looks like battery compartment.

Atleast thats what I would assume.
Unless thats a hidden door for the plug to plug to hide away

Bwahaha!

On a side note: do you think ANYONE HERE knows who is modding this conversation??? This forum used to be quite spirited, with people actually getting kicked off (not me, although I did grasp the edge of propriety). I used to know the names of the mods, even if they wouldn't chime in, but since Amazon's partnership, Whotheheck knows?

The funny thing is, I'm actually looking to buy an airbed as a gift. But I still haven't seen one worth the money during this Woot Off.

I guess that's not really funny. Maybe funnyish.

Aww...are you just mad that you missed the randombaggy? Take heart. Try at one o'clock a.m CST on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day.

It was 1500 each time, and there were five of them. And this was back when you had to order 1, 2 or 3, so there were really only 500 each time since everybody ordered three. That was back when there was actually something good to buy during a Woot-Off. Good times.

I stayed up for this?!?

Not battery-operated, that's where you store the power cord.
