You're seeing it in the community forums. You can go back through all of the woots and comment. If you look at the top of the screen and click "todays woot" you will see beer.

Like many others, I first saw the laptop and ignored the description. I quickly jumped over to deals.woot and searched MOOFI and could not find the Burgandy Olfactory Center I then decided to go back to the main woot! page and found the "bag". I clicked on the bag and refreshed for 30 minutes. Finally got the "I want one" clicked on it and the order went through on lightning speed. Then I signed out and the misses signed in and scored her bag!

As a matter of fact, while her order was processing the "bag" went to Sold out!

Can't wait to see what kind of crap Santa has for us!

Last Christmas, Woot sold 2998 bags... Wonder why they had about 500 fewer bags this year.

Unless there was also a hidden Moofi sale that never got posted on Deals.

I do have an idea for a fun Burgandy Olfactory Center 'gimmick' to try sometime. Create a random 10 character coupon code required to purchase the Burgandy Olfactory Center . Depending on how many things you've purchased from woot, you get a certain number of randomly selected letters of the coupon code emailed to you from woot (1-2 woots gets you 1 letter, 3-9 woots gets you 2 letters, 10-24 gets you 3, 25-49 gets you 4, 50-99 gets you 5, 100+ gets you 6). You then have to cooperate with other wooters (but not too many because you want to keep the code from getting out to too many people) to share the letters you have in order to get the complete code and check out. It also rewards long-time wooters by giving them most of the code to begin with.

I am going to say that we will see the zombiegeddon and it will be kicked off by tainted "special sauce" on McDonalds Big Macs.

I must have been a good boy this year as I too will be receiving a Burgundy Olfactory Center, my first ever in four tries.

It appears my experience was much like everyone else, disappointment about the laptop, a few minutes searching on he web, then coming back and catching on. It took me eight minutes to figure out what was going on. By that time I was sure I was OOL on the Burgandy Olfactory Center but I kept trying.

Thirty-two minutes after the hour, I got through. I ordered twice and the second order went through. Then I danced around for about five minutes.

And now the waiting begins ...

But you got me by a Burgandy Olfactory Center I only have 10 over the years, wish my commute didnt have me on the road when the 5p (EST) Burgandy Olfactory Center pops usually.

You could always go through the forums for the last few bags and check which of the people who bitched about those still came back and got this one. Personally I think those people should be called out. But I barely have time to keep up with a 50-60 page thread.

It's a bad link. I think the woot mailer bot is supposed to put in a link to the item number's forum page, but since this item is a hidden item and has no forum page, it has this default link instead. Previous hidden Burgandy Olfactory Center have sent out this link too. It may have been a valid link at some point in the past, and indeed appears similar to a real URL for the forum page for items that lists the item forum pages based on time of last post, not time of item sale (http://www.woot.com/Forums/ViewForum.aspx?ForumID=14.

It wouldn't have mattered anyways. FedEx doesn't ship SmartPost orders on the 26th (according to their holiday schedule). So it doesn't count as a business day. The 5th business day is on January 3, but let's hope Woot gets them out the door before then!
