Everyone uses my address for packages because there is this rumor I shot someone with a paintball gun while they were trying to tag my fence.

I have had to look at everyone else's buckets of Carrots lately. And fake my buckets of carrots with old woot lights, shirts, and monkeys.

This rumor is not true because the police told me that they would treat it the same a shooting with a pistol.

I don't know why the kid kept yelling that it was his first amendment right to paint on my fence. Doesn't the second amendment say that you can use a paintball machine gun on the kid tagging your fence.

According to the Woot MAP people in WS and UT read all the wonderful copy on the woot.

So while I was waiting for 12am to come to the Wootiverse I was outside for a bit. I stepped in a hole, lost my balance and fell 3 feet down a wall. My jeans happened to catch on an edge and on their way to my ankles they decided to take my shorts halfway with them. Luckily there was extra frozen asphalt to cushion my fall. So there I am laying on my stomach on the icy asphalt.. Grimacing from the pain coursing through my hands, knees and ankle.. My derriere pointing to the heavens searching for Santa and his sleigh.. The brisk 23 degree Christmas Eve night deciding to turn my posterior a nice rosy shade of red.. I had to have laid there unable to move for about a minute. But no worries as I still had at least an hour and a half before the next woot was to strike.

Oh yeah.. Thank god for the security light on the garage because how else would my Mom have been able to stand there at the backdoor and watch the whole thing?

Plus Santa must have seen me and my rosy red behind and decided to take pity on me because I finally got my first Burgandy Olfactory Center!! Wuhoo!!

The sad part is, I had to overdraft my account to get it. Fortunately, my bank doesn't charge overdraft fees.

Hi y'all! First time poster, second woot.

First time I tried to get a Burgandy Olfactory Center and I got lucky! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it.

For anybody who cares lol. This is best labtop deal I have seen on woot that I can remember. Woot usually sell pretty low quality labtop whose only redeeming quality is price. This model line should combine quality with price.

The Envy is the premium line for HP. The SSD by itself will retail easily for 150-300 range.

This is HP attempt to match the premium feel and design of the Macbooks.

I am not sure they accomplished it, but with clear cut awesome exception of the include SSD drive, on paper this machine's specs is roughly equivalent to the entry level macbook pro selling at $1200 on the apple website.

If you tried to buy this exact configuration from the official HP website, the price would be more than $1200 dollars so...take that for whatever it is worth.

After all the years of heartache, trying trying...getting there once and was truly amazed at how crappy crap can be, but willing to take a chance again(or loving the torture, not sure which,)we did it!

Finally, my very first Burgandy Olfactory Center Man I'm glad I didn't give up!! It took me 35 min. but I'm glad I didn't give up!!

I almost gave up when I saw the computer come up but then I remember how sneaky the guys at Woot are. Then, when I got the server error page, I knew I was on the right track!!

Some times you have to say Merry Christmas to your self. A nice laptop to do so.

"HD Imagepad" - sounds suitably horrible. Why do companies continue to try and re-invent the mouse?

Anyone have any user experience with this? Curious to hear if it's functional or an aggravation.

At least it's dead-center on the laptop - my current high-end laptop has the touchpad offset to the left for some unknown reason, and it's amazing how hard it is, even after a year, to easily "center" on it....

I woke up shortly before 1am (East coast) looked at the clock and bolted upright, Christmas Crap! After logging both myself and my husband in, I took a short potty break and got back in time to see the HP Envy come up. Briefly, I was disappointed to not see the Holy Grail, but I then remembered how sneaky Woot can be. Scrolling down I saw it there and clicked, Santa had come through, now if only I could be fast enough to make it through the scrum. Both of us immediately got to the order screen, but could not make it to the ridiculously large button due to 503 errors. After 20 minutes, I told myself one more time. 5 minutes later I was still trying and with a grand total of 28 minutes for myself and 29 for the husband and we had our 2 Bags of Crap. Woo Hoo! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! (Then I went back to bed, woke up and wrote this post)

Nice way to celebrate the holidays... my first ever Bilateral Olympic Committee ever. Makes working on Christmas a lot easier to suffer though.
