I hate a wide variety of music from all of these genres. IMO bad music isn't more common in one genre than the others.

I think it's a common misconception about rap

People sort of group ALL rap together, when most of it isn't all that bad
It's just the ones that are about drugs or beating women or how much of a... buffoon the 'singer' is, those are the ones that we think of when we think of the genre and the ones that get the most media coverage, instead of ones like this

I dislike most pop/rap music, so I guess I'd say "all of the above." I especially hate it when the National Anthem is sung with interpretation.

No, it's not a misconception- to most people, rap is just awful.

It's got nothing to do with the lyrics- half the time I can't understand what they're saying anyway.

Instead of drugs and beating up momma with a crow bar they could be singing about butterflies and rainbows and it would still be repulsive.

I also hate "Trance" - the stuff that gets played at raves and clubs that goes on forever and I'm guessing is only enjoyed by people who have taken something that makes them "smell colors" and "taste sounds" or whatever.

"Can't spell crap with rap!" I actually like some the Beastie Boys & Eminem. Old school rap was fun. I pretty much like at least a little bit of all kinds of music. My favorite is rock & roll, baby! Love Pandora! I'm at work & listening to it now! Rock on!!!

all of the above. but depends on the song.

I can listen to and enjoy almost anything as long as musical competence is involved.
That being said,I will instantly mute:
1-Twangy country-"Ran over my dog with my truck when I found out my wife was cheating while I was cheating"
2-Some grundgy dude growling into a microphone while four instruments play four different songs at the same time while drummer is apparently off in his own concert.
3-Profanity laden songs of any genre.

Why no Rap option? That would definitely be my least favorite.

Ugh! Just noticed no "Christian Rock" listed on the list of disliked music.

Bunch of musicians not good enough to break into mainstream country, but still want lots of money- so they find their place in "Christian Rock" where people will throw money at them for sounding bad because they have a religious theme to their music.

Doesn't matter how bad you sound- how little talent you have; if you can say something semi-religious you too can have a hit-record.

Wife listens to that awful stuff.

There is something in every genre of music I like. I don't like it all, but who does.

I can tell there are some major cornballs amongst the members of Woot. Hip-hop isn't music? Most of you dont have a clue. Now, there's a ton of crap rap, but that's just like any other genre. Personally, I enjoy all types of music.

Woot has started a war. As soon as I saw the question I knew there would be a whole lot of haters out there.

I actually like a bit of everything, but I can't stand hardcore country music. It makes me want to run into a wall every time it starts playing.

I luv hip-hop but i'm not big on rap. I don't like certain jazz, but I like the blues. I adore pop music.
