I think its good for throwing at your TV or other device it is compatible with when your real remote is not working...only .99!

Last time I bought a Philips remote, it was defective (flawed design/components) that they refused to acknowledge was a problem, even though there were a lot of people who were having exactly the same problem. They would fix your remote for free if you could prove you were under warranty, but if you were out of warranty, you couldn't even pay to get it fixed. Early touchscreen remotes were really expensive, so I had a very pricey paperweight.
I'll never buy another Philips remote.
