I bought the similar ones for a cell phone in a recent woot. They work great, are truly watertight.
in my camera case, little pillow is what makes it float so when it falls overboard it stays dry and retrievable.

Super... looks like I can go get some sleep, because you'd have to be even more Ok, I love you, buh-bye! than the ones who bought the Jersey Shore board game to spend $10 on a freezer-size ziplock baggie.

This is my new account.
Old account I forget as woot stopped carrying stuff we needed.
I keep looking for stuff I am interested in For the right price.
I am not the type to take and wait 1-2weeks to get a item for 5bucks cheaper.

I also don't just blow money away like half the world

Also Newly married so starting everything from scratch.

a Ziploc bag works very well to protect an ipad against splashes, dirt, greasy fingers in the kitchen, etc., and allow you to work the touchscreen just fine.

mcaseyblum wrote:I wouldn't want my ipad to get wet and lose my Jersey Shore Trivia app.

This'll be just the thing for those trips to Seaside Heights this summer...now I can finally use the Jersey Shore Name Generator app at Karma without worrying that Snooks is going to upchuck the gift she got from Chuck in the bathroom and get Chuck all over my tablet.

Ooh, just thought of another use. If you accidentally drop it on the floor in the club upstairs, when JWoww pees on the floor, she won't ruin the iPad! Does anyone else see the win-win here?

Okay, so I bought two. One to give to a friend for his iPad and one for me just in case my 10.1 Galaxy tab happens to fit. (Look, I drop things a lot. Ziplocs don't come with a wrist strap, dammit!). If it's not a fit, I guess my son's Star Wars action figures will have a fun new spaceship for rainy days. Suck it, Anakin!

I can actually see this coming in handy!! I was at an outdoor show ( Rick Springfield..don't laugh he is REALLY good live...even the men were shocked!) and it rained. I have never seen so many ppl scurrying around looking for anything waterproof/resistant to protect their smart phones..if it was water resistant it was being wrapped, torn off of something and cuddling a phone.

People get real creative when trying to protect their phones!
