Great for smaller kids. They can carry it to the lake themselves. Great for those Easter baskets as well.

i use an ad block, removes the blackout on Wikipedia.. would have never known if i didn't see that convo

OK, I just got back from using these and I have one thing to say "CRAP"
I set up one for me and then for my son, that was the only thing that worked, one of the had gears that were messed up and the other when I went to cast it the pole portion went into the lake along with my lure.
Then after that the folding handling would not stay opened, so I am warning you all , STAY AWAY>
