I believe he meant an ELECTRICAL outlet. Since the package includes an AC adapter it seems pretty obvious that the answer is YES.

I heard a rumor that these speakers will actually summon forth a wish-granting genie when rubbed after spending a few weeks in the mail. You get as many wishes as you have sets of speakers, I'm told.

I can barely wait for the crushing disappointment! This is about Bushel of Carrots time based on the last two Woot-offs.
