But I agree about the branding. I actually saw this bag on the Razer online store months ago and was totally grossed out by how ugly it is. And that's the funny thing - I love SC2 and I actually would buy an SC2 bag if it were tastefully done. Say, a black bag with the classic Protoss logo on it, or something. This thing is just... not-nice.

yeah, alien dreadlocks with hooters, not so much. a cool identifiable SC2 emblem? definitely. certain people would get it, other's might just see it and think interesting design. and nerd-haters wouldn't feel the need to make fun to compensate for their tiny ... intellects.

That got a quality post? Of all the good comments that one wins? Saying a Starcraft II bag should come with a D20 is like saying my car should come with a wagon wheel. Yeah they both are nerdy games/wheeled transportation, but come on Woot!

If a 15" diagonal defines the laptop's dimensions, then by the Pythagorean theorem, wouldn't that 15" height satisfy most any rectangular object who's diagonal is 15"?

glazedfaith wrote:If a 15" diagonal defines the laptop's dimensions, then by the Pythagorean theorem, wouldn't that 15" height satisfy most any rectangular object who's diagonal is 15"?

Certainly. Although there is the screen's bezel to factor in.

So, for example, my 14" Samsung wootbook (which I think I saw again in this wootoff) measures 14" x 10" overall (and so has an overall diagonal of 17.2".)

So as a quick and dirty estimate, if you kept the overall dimensions in the same ratio as my wootbook but increased the screen diagonal from 14" to 15", the overall size of the larger notebook would possibly be 15" x 10.7".

Way smaller than the bag's 22.8" x 14.6".

EDIT - this hypo(tenuse)thetical 15" laptop would have an overall diagonal of 18.4", and the bag has an overall diagonal of 27.1".
