Also not sure about the CostCo unit but if you signup for Premier you get a pick of a free item from their add-ons (Wireless Adapter, # Port, Extended Warranty, etc.)

COnsidering the options of Romney or Santorum (LOL!) or Gingrich (LOL!) or any of the yahoos that consist of the Republican presidential field......the extended warranty is without a doubt the better choice as the new model could be lacking features...like a brain.

Some of those accustomed to having a landline already have vonage/ooma/magicjack, while others are locked into bundled packages or don't feel like VoIP quality is sufficient.
Bottom line: There's just not a large market for these.
NOthing beats having a home phone VOIP (because who wants to carry their cell phone around their house)....and an old Copper Phone line for backup.
For proof of this....I live in DC and can tell you that all of my friends with only a cell phone came to one place on 9/11 to be able to make a phone call. MY HOUSE.... because I had an old fashioned POST Copper Telephone Line..and it was the ONLY thing working.

Bloodsuckers. Your mileage may vary, but it may take awhile to save any money with the Ooma if you are in the same boat.
Right, you were saving more before because your services were "bundled" - dropping something from the bundle raises the effective cost of the remaining services.
Do not mistake coincidence for fate.

I'm bummed. I was about to jump on this, but after looking at the countries covered by their bundled plans, the country I would be buying this for is not covered.
