My first Barrels of Crud in almost 4 years. I was ready to give up on the whole thing. Now I just have to figure out what I did different this time that made a difference. My story is that during a Woot Off the Barrels of Crud gets posted sometime around 3:00 central time but this one was early catching everyone off gaurd.

Yes I got email.

After the confirmation window resulted in a time out error, I thought for sure I was doomed.

Got in for a second chance and I was told I'd already ordered... hooray!

Now the confirmation email has arrived, I know Barrels of Crud #10 will find it's way to me eventually!

Yes. Emails are out. I don't know if that means you have to give up hope... but I got my email over a half hour ago.

Comforting hugs to those who are sad they got no Block Of Concrete. I got one, but it is my first since I began Wooting in June of 2007. I feel your pain.

To the whiners and ragequitters, though: I dunno, welcome to Woot I guess? You tried to tangle with the Block Of Concrete and you lost. Such is the way of the WootOff.

So, I missed out.. I tried, that's for damn sure... got 503's like crazy, and finally gave up..

Surprisingly, I'm not sour. Not bitter, and not in the least bit bummed out...

The last few bags have been such total garbage; cookie cutter dollar store junk that I can get at Dillyeo, Yugster or any other woot wannabe site.

Woot set the bar awfully high, only to play limbo with it... They have shown in recent bags just how low they CAN go..

So, I'll sit this one out, and hope that the 2487 recipients actually get something worth talking about.. Something that elevates woot back to the level of greatness it once was... Something that all the other DOD sites will "wannabe" again...

Could have had the same thing happen to me. Several times I got the page to get to "Processing Order" after the Buy Now page, but none of them ever went through. Had several that sat for over 5 minutes before Barrels of Crud even sold out. =/

Got my third bag in a row! As always I will not expect better crap just because things are different this time. Really hoping for that truly universal remote!

Just talked to the fiancee and told her we didnt win a Barrels of Crud she said "good, we dont need anymore sweat bands, glowsticks, or crappy tripods."

She just doesnt understand :-/ Sometimes you get a 2gb sansa clip with a cracked screen...

Would have been my 7th Barrels of Crud but wasted time changing the shipping address. (My last Woot was a Christmas gift shipped directly to my sister on the other side of the country. Drats!)

MUAHAHA. I honestly messaged my wife to tell her I didnt win one either and I was sad. She replied with almost the same type of comment. She said "Good. All the other bags and balls of junk you got in the last ones are still sitting in the corner of the room. Go build you another box." Something along those lines. They really just dont understand.

Yes. Not every time, but they do. The 3pc woot hasnt been around for over a year. I think I first noticed it sometime last year anyway when I got a Barrels of Crud and it didnt have the option. I have gotten a few since then too, and I think two of the times letters went out. Yes letters. Think three letters each time.
