Oh. I wasn't aware that a full size bed is the EXACT SAME as a queen.

exodus1110 wrote:The "smell" that happens with memory foam is usually due to the fact that someone is not showering before they head to sleep and depositing body soil on the sheets(which I imagine due to not showering daily, are probably not too clean) which then creeps into the mattress. The smell problem, can be easily fixed in most cases by practicing decent hygiene techniques and ensuring sheets are changed on a regular basis. Once a week is good for that. Outside of getting this mattress wet, the odor shouldn't be a complaint from most people.

The smell people are referring to, here, is the same one I experienced, which was the chemical smell the mattress gives off immediately upon being opened and decompressed, before anyone has ever slept on it.

We bought one.. And it was HORRIBLE. That was the worst year of sleep we have ever experienced, hands down. We are still suffering the aftereffects of this bed. Spend the money and invest in a good bed!! It is a great investment considering how much you will use it.
Seriously. Within one night this bed had permanent dips and slopes. It does NOT conform to your body, but smooshes down to nearly flat and hard. It smells horrendous even after 2 weeks of letting it air out.

Seriously. This was -the- absolute worst purchase of my life.

One more note: It is $249.99 on sellout.woot and $399.99 on home.woot.

Dang that is not my last post.
DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS IF YOU ARE OVER 200 POUNDS. They do not design mattresses with big people in mind.. But trust me when I say WALK AWAY.

Believe him!

This is an economical platform. I've been using a similar one for several months now. The only down side is that the bed is too high for my Shih Tzu to jump up on the bed. Though that could be an up side.

Woot is slowly dying in my eyes posting nothing but crap recently. The day I see 10-pack of spaghetti on sale will be the last day of me checking Woot. It is a sh shame "mother" wants to kill woot service turning it into "buy a crap" portal.

So now I am confused... You state that woot! is offering the same item as deals.woot.... But deals.woot is cheaper....

AND THEN ONE POST LATER

You also seem to be aware that queen and full mattresses are different sizes... I am beside myself here. I am going to go out on a limb and call it.... Massive reading failure?

Not for the heavy set. I bought this mattress over a year ago and had to get a new one within 3 months. If you weigh over 200, the foams loses its rigidity and you end up sleeping in a pothole.

Now I'm pretty concerned. Since I don't know if I'd have the money to go in on a box spring as well, and since the reviews seem to be extremely love/hate, I'm leaning towards passing on this. I don't want to have to worry about being left out to dry on a 250 dollar purchase of a full mattress if I'm not sure I'll be getting quality. I guess this is one of those rare woots that you should probably try before you buy?

So are there any definitive reviews for this SAME mattress that prove that it is durable and well-made?

From most sources provided (amazon, overstock, etc.) there have been a decent amount of negative reviews that state the mattress doesn't last more than a year without con-caving in and leaving permanent imprints. Is there a common mistake these people are making with the mattress, such as not supporting it with the correct foundation or flipping it upside down, or is this truly a crappy mattress that the good reviews just don't come back to edit when it goes out much earlier then it should.

Still don't really have a clear answer to this, and I am reluctant to purchase especially since the provided links to the supposed manufacturer are only slightly higher price than what Woot is currently offering.

I actually own this mattress and have been very satisfied with it...And its a little more expensive since you have to pay tax at walmart.

Just bought this one from woot for the girlfriend since she loves my bed.

I don't think i will ever go back to a regular mattress again. Every other mattress I have ever owned has gotten a dip, even the "no dip" mattress i have bought.

I have had the spa sensations one for about a year and still as good as the day i got it.

sheenyman wrote:Would it be worth getting this over a Wal-Mart Spa Sensations 12" MF bed that includes a 5 year warranty (as opposed to this 90 day warranty)?

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Spa-Sensations/7695950

The Spa Sensations 12" is $55 more, and you don't get pillows......but you do get 3" memory foam, and 4 years and 9 months more of a warranty.

Is this mattress any kind of brand name?? A 90 day warranty doesn't say a whole lot for this mattress.

Before I spend another week lying on a comfortable mattress while waiting for my Woot refund; has anyone else experienced problems receiving a refund from Woot for defective merchandise? Is this just a rare clerical error, or common practice? I need my $$$ back before I can afford to keep Wooting.

I think the single most interesting thing about today's deal is how many people apparently decided to post their questions (i.e. "What brand is this?") or comments (i.e. "This is the exact same deal on three of the woot sites, but with different prices!") without going through the forum first.

If you want to know how this bed feels go to the dollar store and buy a crap (can I say that word on this site?) load of sponges and throw them on the floor and lay on them. That's what you get.
They call it memory foam because when you get up it remembers where you laid for next time.

There was a post earlier in the thread where someone said it damaged their wood floor and didn't recommend it. Might be ok on carpet. This thread is chock full of good feedback in addition to the grins-and-giggle posts. Check it out!

I just bought a memory foam mattress on Amazon yesterday for twice the price of the bed here. Says 5 inches of 5 lb density foam. I'm hoping it will support my hefty frame. We slept on a similar bed on vacation and fell in love.... with the foam bed.

My plan is to put it on plywood covered box springs. Hope that works.

I highly recommend that you set the bed up in the morning and let it expand and settle before use for at least 4 hours. Usually these beds come compressed and in a roll. They need to become fully erect before use.

As it has been stated, this is not for larger ppl. Im 6'2 190 and bought one 1.5 years ago, when I wake up in the morning there is no padding below me. And it is getting worse. That being said my gf has one and loves it, but once again, do not buy if you are probable 170+.
