According to the wiki it just means that they're used with a firearm.

I mean, for flip's sake, it only takes AAA batteries. What kind of damage can you expect to do with a flashlight that only takes AAA batteries.

These are nice. My husband is a Officer and uses this one as one of his back up lights. He uses a bigger more powerful light as his main light but this is a great back up light.

I've got one of these. Although it's weapon-mountable, it does not include any rail mounts, so you're on your own to get one. Also, the half-bright mode is a high-speed flicker, which I sometimes find annoying. Aside from that, it's way bright and will get the job done.

I totally understand about the luck of getting it at the right address. We found a very large expensive shipment from FEDEX had been delivered to a house address identical in numbers but not in street-name. We did recover the box from a property that was in foreclosure. It was an abandoned house, with tons of mail stuffed in the mailbox and delivery boxes everywhere. When I spied my expensive shipment I shrieked in great relief, grabbed it and hugged it the whole way home.

To this day, all that extra stuff is still at the foreclosed property, unclaimed.

I received my flashlight however it doesn't have the "low mode"described in the bog as shown below.
Contacted Woot. I They said it's not listed in the product description.. I suggested they re read their own writings.
