I got the sellout.woot sale on the SP-BS41-LR speakers (130W vs. 80W for these, the BS21). I'm happy with them but I haven't gotten them fully hooked up yet, to the AV receiver I also wooted.

I am predicting that long term stuff goes up, we all take a break from the F5 key, and then suddenly when we have all abandoned our computers/tablets/Phones the long term stuff comes down quick like lightening and the Barrels of Crud goes up. BAM!

these are nice, but i couldn't fit ANY books on them.

My parents just bought these (with a vsx-1021k and the sub/center) from the egg for $50 shipped earlier this month.

They're certainly decent for what they are. If you're looking for decent inexpensive speakers (they do need a sub) then it's not a bad way to go.

BTW, these are bigger than they look in the pics.

No, it is not... the 130W speakers are $156.
The 80W ones are $76.
So not a good woot price, this.

I actually own these speakers along with the FS-51 towers and C21 center. For budget speakers, they actually sound really good. Solid construction and rear-ports.

We had no wine or t-shirt diversions this woot off, no? Unless I missed them.

What a gimmick woot has going here. I mean, 95% of the comments on all these woot's is people looking for a bag of crud. Is it just personal satisfaction to be able to say you got one? Is the items in a bag of crud really worth the $5 or whatever you spend on it. I have bought some good items on here that seemed like a good deal but a bag of crud is probably something more of a novelty that a wise purchase.

Although I have two screaming monkeys, and two sets of woot-off lights, I have never achieved the greatness that of a CRAP. maybe if I eat some more beets, I can get a crap.

I love these speakers, in only a way a man can. Like a CPU fan overheating and making loud noises. These lovely black boxes of noise producing holes fit perfectly on my desk. Also when I need space they fit perfectly as squeeze them into my cabinets sweet sweet situation.
