I received mine today. Hard to believe I had that much pet hair living in my carpets... Anyway, ordered yellow, got purple. Eh, it's still a vacuum, now I've just got to explain to my poker buddies why I'm so fond of purple.

My old vac just wasn't cutting it anymore so I picked up a Dyson DC25. My wife wasn't exactly happy that I made this decision without her input. The vac arrived on time. I was a little bummed that it came in orange instead of the yellow I ordered. The amount of dust this thing picks up is AMAZING!! I used it on a carpet that appeared clean and came up with tons of junk! The icing on the cake was last night when my formerly disgruntled wife said that she couldn't believe how the carpet looked brand new!

I love this vacuum!!! And so glad Woot had so many color choices on this one (got the red one). I really can't believe I waited so long to buy a Dyson. This thing literally runs circles around any other vacuum I've owned. And as others have commented, Dyson gave me a 5yr warranty when I registered with them.

I ordered "yellow" because they look more orange and that is my wife's favorite color. Unfortunately I got a purple one The box itself had a sticker that said "yellow" so it was the factory's mistake, not woot's. I'm trying to work with dyson to trade for a "yellow" (orange) one since it was their mistake and my wife loves orange and hates purple... not much luck so far.

Note that woot was perfectly helpful and offered a refund (obviously they can't exchange because they're sold out...) but if I can't get the color switched, I think I'm still going to keep this little sucker (pun intended :-P) I wonder what spraypaint would do to it....

I finally got Dyson to let me send mine back. It's been over a month and I still don't have it I bought mine on 3/6 and haven't been able to use it yet. Today woot has them again and I wish I'd just waited because I'd be able to use it sooner!

Dyson customer support is extremely lacking and it's been over a month since Dyson got my return and I haven't heard anything despite multiple attempts on my part to figure out what is going on.
