if you have a desktop, my guess is you orta have a monitor plugged into it. you could try unplugging the monitor from your desktop and temporarily plugging it into the netbook to see if it works that way.

Hubby and Daughter are off for DC job interview.

There was a dog in the pizza place we went to for lunch.
Owner walks him without a leash, so he kept sneaking in when the owner would leave him outside.
Dog took the takeout bag and carried it home!

Grrr.

Meeting planner popped up. I didn't check the time, just decided to walk over a little early and get a chai before it started.

Undocked lap top, locked cabinets, loaded up backpack (since I'll be going home after the meeting) and walked over. Got my chai. Went to the meeting room--and there are still over people in it. Hmmm...Not scheduled...check planner.

The person who made the meeting set the reminder for an hour in advance.

Totally not worth packing everything back up and going back to my office, so I'm loitering in the lobby until my meeting starts.

My speech is not parsing. I am speaking in ellipsis.

I would really like to be able to see what is there, as I know it has booted up many times while I was playing around with it. I am afraid to ruin my desktop and/or laptop by plugging the netbook into it. To say technically challenged is a very polite term. It did come with a disk for Winxp and help items, but I cannot, of course run that until/unless I can see what I am doing. I think I have used it a total of 30 times during the time I have had it! I really hate to take the loss on this - and that is totally irrational.

If you have a desktop, you can plug that monitor into it, you can also plug it into most modern TVs, provided you have the cable. (most likely a standard VGA cable) Just randomly grab a teenager and tell them to do it.

Still single, can't imagine why.

Morning everybody.

The letters thing worked for his character, he's always doing stupid stuff like that to Alexis. I think he started out ok with Slaughter, but after they bring in the first pair of guys for questioning the show turns and he just stumbles the rest of the way through. That beaten lost puppy dog walk out of the precinct when Slaughter texts him is too far and more pathetic than anything. It didn't work for his character even if he is feeling trapped.

They were playing it up as a big Firefly reunion and I was really hoping we'd see more of a Mal/Jayne dynamic again - in that I was extremely disappointed. It actually made me want to load up Firefly to see the two guys working well together with a firm groove. What came across was more like armatures ad-lib night with one guy calling the shots and the other actor failing to deliver. Maybe if I'd liked the show Chuck I might have liked the episode better.

Not if you pay them enough.

If you do plug it into your computer monitor or TV whatever is wrong with your netbook will not affect those devices. It will also verify that the problem is the screen connection, which is the most probable thing to happen. If you were coming West again, I'd offer to fix it, but it's not really worth shipping cost most of the time.

Firefly was the show where the two men (Castle and Slaughter) were previously Mal and Jayne. Chuck is the last show that the guy who played Slaughter was on. Sorry to confuse you. All the lead up online was about the two Firefly actors working together again, kicking butt and taking names - so I was hoping for a bit more of that, not Castle stumbling all over himself.

LOL,
The MTA's (metropolitan transit authority) reaction to video of boys playing chicken with a subway train. They all jumped onto the tracks when they saw the train coming, they all jumped back onto the platform before it got into the station.
