Good morning everybody! Cooler but still beautiful at the beach. It was 51 when we jogged this morning. It is 40 at home in the mountains.

I've been trying to get my Levoxyl prescription filled. Who knew the pharmacy had to leave the A off of my member ID number printed on the card? I don't know how those nice people stay sane dealing with all the different insurance companies.

Daughter called and she ran out of gas on her way to work. She didn't have her debit card with her. Sigh... it seems a little excessive to deliver her a gallon of gas from 400 miles away. She figured it out, finally!

Good morning everyone! Weekend filled with gorgeous weather, adventure, and FOOD. So much food, from the ridiculous (Doritos Tacos, movie popcorn compete with way too much butter) to the divine (roast chicken, mushroom asparagus tarts, key lime custard cakes). Agingdragqueen and I hit up the farmer's market Sunday, so I'm looking forward to a week filled with healthy veggies, fruit, and sparkly ginger beer.

All told, kind of need a weekend from my weekend. ;)

Soda like. It's no fun to have the booze already in it! It is however really fun to show up with a growler that you expect beer to be in and have them fill it up at the market for fairly cheap ($12).

Morning all. Brisk wind here - snowbirds that are left are still wearning shorts & tee tops. Must be freezing their unowhats off. Going down to the beach to watch some uncharacteristically (sp?) high surf, as it is a west wind. Contrary to the "it is a warm wind the west wind, full of birds' cries" which I had to memorize in the 8th grade. Why I would think of it or remember it now is strange - really getting over the hill and rolling down I guess.

dougall will disagree. In England, hard ginger beer is in fact available and apparently awesome. We've been looking for recipes to brew our own. This is the only one I've found: Ginger Beer. That looks tasty, either way!

In terms of ginger beverages, though...ginger vodka is pretty good stuff. There's also a few ginger based liquors, some of which are really potent (is, medicinal!).

At the office waiting for a call from Ithaca. I guess I should wonder over and see if the boss is in yet.

Going to be a very long day.... other job co-worker called and she's not coming in (she's sick) so I need to do her job when I leave here.... lovely.

Nobody, but nobody has any young kids wandering around. I have inquired at a couple of computer repair places as well as a long conversation with Asus - of course the only ones who seem to know anything whatever, albeit it very little, is Asus. "bring it in for service". All of the other places say it is not worth spending any more money on even tho it is less than 2 years old. I asked Asus how to remove the hard drive, and they told me I had to bring it in for service for that. I am in a rotten, hateful mood. Preparing to drive over, back up, and drive over again. That should do it.

You have to shop carefully, I've had veggies that look just fine and then are perfectly rubbish within a day or two.

Puck thinks the bath mat in the master bedroom is the bestest. Unless it's damp.

He spent most of last night trying to curl next to me when I was lounging on the couch. There was a triangle of space, just big enough for him...if he let two legs dangle off the edge. Which he did. Even after I moved and gave him more room.

i've had veggies that turned to p00p in just a day, but that was after eating.
