Bourbon - sure it's whiskey, but so is Scotch, but it's good whiskey.

But, I do like Whiskey (preferably Scotch).

I'll have whiskey, bourbon or rye.
If they're not available, I'll have some of my homemade mead (honeywine). No, it's not wine as you may think, it's made with honey, water and yeast. If I don't have any mead around, I'll take some of my neighbor's homebrewed ale.
If that's not available, than just kill me!

Brandy and single malt scotch are awesome, great to use these with, but my fav of all times is Absinthe! Nothing can touch it!

Sorry to be contrary, but no, bourbon is not whiskey. It's bourbon. Hence the name. You're right about scotch, however.

No, bourbon is whiskey that meets the following standards: Made from at least 51% Corn, Aged in new charred oak barrels, between 80 and 160 proof, and entered into the barrel at no more than 125 proof.

If I can't get a single malt scotch, maybe a VSOP cognac. I have a 15 y.o. rum that is very high quality as well.
