I voted for the unmentioned combo, because I think Tortilla chips in good Salsa + creamy Ranch dressing = the best freaking thing you ever put in your mouth.

been said but i'll say it again. chips and a dip made from Rotell and velveeta cheese.

It's a toss-up between tortilla chips and queso flameado (queso fresco or any other smooth-melting cheese with browned chorizo, topped with rum and lit afire) and Kettle salt-and-pepper ridged chips with Helluva Good bacon-horseradish dip.

1. Anything crunchy in ranch. (Real buttermilk ranch, not the bottled kind.)

2. Tortilla chips in that dip they make with tomato, sausage, and sour cream. This may be the many-times-aforementioned Rotel stuff.

Pretzels and French Onion dip. Sounds weird, and pretzels are not ideal dippers, but the flavor/texture combo is great.

You guys are out of your mind if you think tortilla chips and salsa are better than ANY potato chip and french onion dip. Let alone adding in Ranch chips, Sour cream and cheddar chip, buffalo wing chips, etc etc etc etc etc.

Fruit & fruit dip (marshmellow fluff & cream cheese creamed together with a little bit of lemon juice). My favorite is strawberries!

So much chip/dip deliciousness. All of the above, plus Ritz crackers and cream cheese/jalapeno jelly. And baguette slices in balsamic vinegar & really good olive oil.

Agreed. Hummus and pita chips are my go-to snack.

8oz Cream Cheese, stir in one can Chili Without Beans - Serve Warm. Maybe a little more hot sauce but NOTHING ELSE! Great with any chips

They "almost" had it right. The BEST is:

Potato chips with French Onion / Clam dip.

It gets even better if you have some of those tiny little dried Hmong chilies.

Make the "standard" French Onion dip but use 1.5 packets of mix rather than only 1. Drain a can of chopped or diced clams and add those. Crumble the chilies real fine. Mix it well and let it sit overnight.

Hummus is the worse thing you could EVER eat.

How about tortilla chips in molten hot queso, as hot and as fake a bright orange yellow as you can get, with jalapeno peppers for that extra kick.

Most def 1/2 block of cream cheese, heated and mixed into one can chili, dip whatever kinda chips you want in there. Alternatively, cottage cheese + hot sauce is an awesome dip.

Tortilla chips and bean dip. And it has to be the triangular chips, not the wussy round ones or, heaven forbid, the scoops.
