It's not an internet issue. Woot's server is apparently messed up. I'd hate to be their IT guy right about now. All that lost revenue...

We're having some really special weather in Texas right now, that may explain things.

Big, big storms in Dallas after midnight. Probably something to do with this crash.

Major storms rolling through North Texas, possible reason for site crashing. Must of been bad, delayed overnight shipping of my random shirts

I am convinced that this is NOT a Woot-off, and that the problem is the spinning light thingy was put on the listing by mistake. The Wootazoners are sitting there laughing at the thousands (no, millions) of Wooters staring at their screens, clicking refresh, and howling "Why, Oh Heavens Above, WHY?"

I'm a choir director, and this is ideal for using during rehearsals and services to see exactly how the choir sounds to Bubba in the pew. I also use mine for microphone testing, and to see how well the organ and/or piano carry to different parts of the church.

I thought Sanyo went out of business in the '80s.
Could this mean I can finally get replacement parts for my dad's Sanyo Betamax VCR? No, it isn't a Sony Betamax.

Looks as if Woot has posted one, already sold-out, item on each Woot-off site. Nothing seems to move.

On Home.woot, I was delivered a 503 for attempting to comment.

Ah well, you wooters need to get a life anyway! (Me? I'm just looking for the bag of c-r-a-p!)

This line is blank!

Think something may be up in Woot World. Kids, home and regular woot offs are all stuck at the same level and haven't moved for quite some time.

Hogarth: I know you feel bad about the deer, but it's not your fault. Things die. That's part of life. It's bad to kill, but it's not bad to die.
Iron Giant: You die?
Hogarth: Well, yes, someday.
Iron Giant: I die?
Hogarth: I don't know. You're made of metal, but you have feelings, and you think about things, and that means you have a soul. And souls don't die.

You miss the point. HOAXES, you see, typically are not announced as such. In fact, HOAXES, you see, typically are accompanied by things to make people believe there is NOT a HOAX.

PS I like capitalizing. It is fun.

God forbid anyone from Woot actually letting us know what the issue is and how they're trying to resolve it, so we don't all just turn off the computer and walk away (killing their projected revenue).

Are we really such junkies?
