Laughable. Especially since these are actually more expensive than bose...Plus if you honestly think bose is worth the cost, you really need to reconsider your audiophilness. I've got the complete 5.1 surround setup, and it's just incredible for a mid-range priced sound system. I'd highly recommend the Pinnacle brand.

Agreed, there are significantly better choices out there than Bose. Give me my Sennheiser headphones any day.

That said, I have no experience with Pinnacle speakers so cannot speak to these. Can appreciate they are family owned, however.

They actually seem like they might be really good speakers. According to manufacturer website they are new...one reason there might not be any reviews. But just about every other Pinnacle product on Amazon has at least 4+ stars.

And just to note, if you're looking for heavy lows these speakers are not for you. These will product absurdly crisp mid's, and very quality highs. In fact if you have a crappy bose system, just replace your front two with these and listen to your favorite tracks again...you'll hear parts of the song you never knew existed. Bose is just pathetic with producing mids.

It depends on a lot of things - your price range, what you mostly listen to (movies or music), what size you want, etc... I recommend searching through some forums at AVS forums if you have all of that in mind.

There are many excellent brands that blow Bose out of the water for equal price or less and have better build quality.

Thanks. When we get ready to update our entertainment center, I'll do some research first. For now, the bose is nice for just listening in the bedroom while studying.

Totally agree. Bose sucks for hi end surround sound. They bank on their name for sales. Pinnacle is a very good mid-level speaker.

Just trying to decide if my wife will kill me if I get these...or if I have to sell them if shipping 14 lbs of speakers will be worth it.
