rather have an ipad
My friend bought his brand new for $400 and loves it. I don't think it gets the ICS update though. Anyone confirm this? I have a Xoom and love it, but not REALLY love it, that would be wrong.
My daughter has it, she loves it and it's even faster than my Xoom which I love! We just compared them last week, her Thrive loads faster on any internet connection time after time.
This machine will tell us the precise location of the three remaining golden tickets.
This is not a great price. Was hoping they might lower the cost of some of these damn tablets but no luck so far.
People sure know how to love devices.
i own one and love it, bought it new from BB too. One of my favorite features are the full size USB and HDMI ports (plus mini ones as well). My favorite feature though... it's not an ipad
I got the 32GB version from Woot a few months ago. A bit chunky, but it works great. It is supposed to get an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. See www.thriveforums.org for all the info you need. Some Wooted tablets had a firmware version that wouldn't upgrade.
My wife has one and loves it. The ICS upgrade is going to happen the end of Spring...at least according to Toshiba.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?!@#?$%@#$% 5 of these??? What a joke. I saw it, went to buy it and the page just reloaded….. Then it was gone. WORST WOOTOFF EVER. FIX YOUR SERVERS. Buy some NEW ONES. Sheeze.
Excellent tablets. Have purchased two from Woot at different times and no surprises, no problems. LOTS of ports and it's really no bigger/heavier than by a few ounces. It makes for a more robust, sturdy feeling tablet.

I haz a bucket! /excited
DANG!! How much were they asking for this one? I was hoping they would woot them off again and I've been watching all day. I must have been eating when this one snuck through. I wanted one for my daughter. I got one off woot a couple of months ago and we share it. We love it. Hope to see it again soon.

I'm thinking this is a "limited supply combined with slow on the trigger" issue, not a server problem. When they run out, they run out.
I strongly advise against anyone purchasing this tablet. Mine quit working after only six months, even though I took excellent care of the device.

Mine lasted a little longer, but won't turn on now. Was inclined to blame the 16-year-old who was using it, but now not so sure. I'm going to give Toshiba a call and see if they'll help make it better even though it's out of warranty. Good companies do that, strangely enough.
