Having previously owned one for a couple years, agreed.
But this is a thread about the pen, so I'll leave it there.
I'm just hanging out, really.

Thank you!! I go through my spam every day because I hate it piling up, guess they must have ignored it by accident, but issue is resolved now so thanks again!

That the servers keep crashing and otherwise not work perfectly Amazonian-like is proof to me that they are not micromanaging. I believe they are either totally hands-off, simply are lending their immense buying power to enable Woot to get even better deals.
Agree. As a member since 2007, I would say they seem to be running things the same as they always have, but if there was one thing I have noticed it is that the deals aren't as good. They are always ok, but not the steals like it seems they used to be. They will be just slightly better than what you can find elsewhere so you're left debating if the slightly better px is worth the wait for snail-post shipping.
I would also say that it seems like the woot-off stuff is krappier, not as fun and obscure.
And the final thing I have noticed is that the discussions used to be full of utterly hilarious posts and photos/images - now that is a rarity. And that's a change in the community, not the company.
The site is still fun though. Everyone where I work still comments on the item of the day.
Timing is everything - especially when wOOting!

Charged my receiver, put in batteries (right side up!), clipped to paper, wrote...and nothing happens. Receiver still says "0." What am I doing wrong?

I called the company. After 20 minutes on hold, I got a very nice lady who told me she was not the tech, she's in customer service. Then she gives me another number for the tech. I left voicemail and emailed support. I suspect I have a bad pen.

Never heard from technical support or customer service, so, Woot!, it's heading back your way with the RMA you provided. I wonder how others did on this one?
