Myself and a friend's packages are still reading 1 pound weights for delivery Thursday. Hmm.

Woots shipping dept hates me. My crap is scheduled for 4/7. I have everything shipped to work, which will be closed Saturday.

So many days in a week and it's got to be delivered on the one day I'm not at work? And, this is the 2nd time it's happened. I think Woot is seeing my billing and shipping addresses are different and screwing with me. It's the most obvious answer.

Yeah, I'm kinda hoping for one too. My kid would love it, but he's in the middle of potty training, so he might get distracted from the task and just want to step on the flusher.

drgandalf wrote:8 lbs of bubble wrap would be a heck of a lot of bubble wrap. But Woot doesn't usually use bubble wrap, they use pods of sweet Texas Woot-Gas. And it would be a whole lot of pods of sweet Texas Woot-Gas to make 8 lb.

Now you went and made me curious, so I weighed a strip of Woot-Gas pods. 8 of them weighed about 0.6 ounces. That means that it would take about 1700 pods to make 8 lbs.

Each pod fills about 55 cubic inches, so your 8 lbs of pods would take up over 50 cubic feet, or a cubic box 45 inches on a side.

Better make sure you have a really wide door for when your shipment arrives!

Well, you have given me hope that it's not all bubble wrap.

No, you're not the only one, mine is 6.4 lbs. And I hope I don't get one of those stupid pop up sprinkler things. Seriously. I got one in a previous box and every once in a while I'll pull the box it's in out and put it on my desk and start ranting to my husband about what a stupid invention it was, why on earth would anyone buy it, what good is it (you dig a hole, put the sprinkler down; it's got U shaped PVC and on one end is a place to attach a hose, on the other is a popup sprinkler. So, you put this thing, that isn't even barely a foot wide, in the ground, cover the pipe with soil and when you need to water the area, you attach the hose to the hose connection side and start the water and the popup sprinkler pops up and sprinkles...well, geez, wouldn't it be easier to just buy a sprinkler and move it around where you need to water? Instead of planting a sprinkler in one place? Stupid, stupid, stupid...), I guess that kind of gives you an idea about what I think of that popup sprinkler thing...*lol*
