IMPENDING DOOM! IMPENDING DOOM!

My brother and I always try for Bunnies Ogling Carrots. I've gotten about 5, he's gotten 0. I got one this round - it arrived at my apartment today in Boston.

BUT.

I've been in New Jersey for the past week visiting family. And while he goes to college in NY state (Culinary Institute), we had previously arranged that he could stay in my apartment this weekend while visiting Boston. He just got there tonight.

My jealous, prankster, no-good brother is sitting in my apartment with my freshly delivered 13 pound Bunnies Ogling Carrots I have to be incredibly nice to him to ensure no harm comes to my precious.

Why must the torture endure.

I must say I am most happy with all the randomness of the Bunnies Ogling Carrots this time around.

Here is the camera they sent me:

http://www.wards.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=82703&code=840097

I could only find it at Wards. All the others had the sensors lined up towards the corner, this one they go down the side of the lens.

We got both mine and my girlfriends VERY first Bunnies Ogling Carrots today. The boxes were slightly different sizes. We were so excited as we started with mine since I was faster with the knife.

I was rewarded by colonel crap with:

6 bags of turbulent Texas air.
One purple shopping bag with daisy imprint on front.
One pop up sprinkler.
One iGo car charger - tips sold separately.
Four table top tripods.
Two bug Zapper Racquets - one red one blue.
Two Primula Earl grey black tea.

My girlfriend was excited - not that either of us really wanted any of these things (she does like tea sometimes though) but it was fun opening it.

As we opened her box we realized she got EXACTLY the same things with only two exceptions:

She was rewarded with four extra bags of Texas air.
Her racquets were both red.

I laughed so hard I had to go check my shorts 'cause I really wasn't sure. The look on her face was priceless. It was like someone stole Christmas from her. I know that sounds mean but I couldn't stop laughing at her and after a minute she joined me.

But she said she gets first dibs on opening next time if we are ever this lucky again - which I doubt.

This was so worth it.

THANKS Woot! and THANKS Colonel for the the best laugh we've had in a while!

1 black duffel bag w/shoulder strap included
1 phillips dvd player remote & a/v cord
1 pop up sprinkler
1 (S) Unstealthiest Ninja
1 (S) He'll Probably Be Okay
1 set of 2 over the door hooks
5 random small Lock n Lock containers

not pictured - the bug zapper racket my mom kept to swat my dad with if he gets mouthy

I have linebacker shoulders and a, uh, not small chest, so it's off to the trades I go to try to find a larger Unstealthiest Ninja and something other than zombie bait because 1) zombies give me actual nightmares and 2) I can't stand the now-accepted-by-illiterate-society-but-still-incorrect usage of "okay".

4) Playskool toy car carrier truck with toy car

So without further ado, my YouTube video presentation!

My Biggest Crap Ever!

Contents:
1x Coleman 36 QTS Red Radio Cooler (Possibly my bag?)
1x Mountainsmith Windom 35° F Down Series Sleeping Bag (A bag to put me in?)
7x Pop & Lock Plastic Containers (various sizes)
2x True Fire Gourmet Grilling Planks
1x NexTrend Shish Kabob Skewer
1x Desiccant Packet (to keep all the Texas Air dry)

All in all a most excellent haul! been reading the forums the entire time and the only thing I have seen others get were the containers (bought the glass set for the wife before Christmas). Very excited and pleased with this as we've been meaning to get out more. The only thing that I am kinda envious over is the electric bug swatter. was kinda hoping one would be in mine as prior to this I had been eyeing up a cheap one prior to this but just couldn't justify spending the $7 xD (oh and that Viper or Vette mentioned early would be sweet, but that's stretching it I think)

So this...

Dear SmartPost Gods,

My very first Bales of Criticism left Wisconsin on the 4th, and landed in Michigan on the 5th. Just wanted to give you the heads up that Indiana is actually one of the states between the two. You passed my house by. I'd post a sad cat, but I'm losing my will to live and my energy is waning.

Sincerely,

I'm a little worried. Left Smartpost facility 4 1/2 hours away and hasn't made the switch with USPS over 36 hours later!?!?!?! Did somebody steal the truck?

My mail lady admits that SmartPost is total low priority and may sit in a sorting facility for days when filling a truck, etc. Supposedly the hang-up is always in the switch over from FedEx to USPS. Neither care what happens to SmartPost for some reason. In my case, my Bunnies Ogling Carrots went from one state to another, passing up my delivery state which is in the middle. I suspect that it will hang for a few days in this twilight zone, until USPS cleans out their corners and moves it along.

Here's what was in it:

1 - Baywatch Barbie Backpack (fantastic)
1 - Black Bag
1 - 20 pack of Fuji AAA batteries
1 - HP webcam (going to the parents for Skype)
1 - Kitchen Warfare size small
1 - It Came Out Of Nowhere size small
1 - Bug Killing Racket (useful - I live in western PA)

Not too shabby for my first ever. Definitely got some stuff I can use, and stuff I can give away. Thanks Woot!

Edit: Also forgot to mention I got 11 bags of Terrific Texas Air!

You'd think the iFly would have gotten me most excited, but the first thing I played with was Greedo!

Blah.. just went to use the iFly and noticed it's missing a rotor! Booooo... now not so happy. Shame to have to toss that in the trash. Not sure if I can buy a replacement part somewhere. And, it has no remote.

Woot.. if you find a remote and lower rotor laying around in the warehouse, it's mine!

Kinda bummed. Was the first time I got something I was actually going to use. Daughter was kind of excited as well.

My wife received her 3.5ish pound bag yesterday.

-1 black duffel bag
-1 sprinkler
-1 huge plain orange tshirt (neither of us wear a size huge)
-2 doggie shirts, 1 large, 1 small (we have no dogs and I think my parents' mastiff would destroy me if I tried to put one on her)
-1 purple caped keychain mini woot monkey
-1 woot 2012 calendar
-1 pair of kids ez socks. They have a creepy looking monkey face on the top and loops to help the kid pull them up. No note saying these were from the Colonel specifically since my feet are pretty dry. We don't have any kids, but my wife said "I guess this means we need to start trying now." Thanks woot...

I think my wife was a bit disappointed after I got an ipod touch, but the randomness is what makes this so exciting. Thank you colonelcrap for bringing the random back to the Bunnies Ogling Carrots

Reporting a haul #1 of 2 here!

Wife's load have beaten mine and showed up yesterday. Traveled most of the distance with placeholder weight then at a last stop changed to 19.2lbs (not unusual for this offering), but some quite odd dimensions 35.6 x 16.9 x 10, which raised suspicion that there's something unusual inside.

Suspicions confirmed by a mailman dropping off this:

Fisher-Price Smart Cycle

Came in original box nested into original Fisher-Price shipping box (imprinted with name of the item and such). Apparently a return, as it looks like it's been assembled before, but thanks to the unnamed Wooter (this time Woot carefully removed all shipping labels and return papers) who sent it back, who carefully packed all parts and put all screws and small assembly pieces into a ziplock bag. Assembled fine and works.

Quality sucks big time, but kids love it!

In addition to the said bike a mandatory blue duffel bag and 3 assorted shirts (Woman's large) were stuffed somewhere out there.

For those who try to make sense of Woot randomness - this order came from the last wave.

Thank you Woot and Colonel Crаp for the great haul! Standing by for my own order, which may as well show up today, but is still 1lb placeholder, so waiting for a complete surprise!
