Looks like Woot disabled waiting in line, and when this set came up, initially everyone's order would be waiting in line, thus the error "no lines". That said, someone at Woot then changed the number on the ordering system from 300 to 850 and people were able to order.

What I'd like to see

If you hit the confirm button within 5 seconds of it going up, you are denied and given a magic cookie that reroutes you to a 'give other people a chance' page for the next 10 minutes
All these people with their bots ruin it for everyone else

Second Bunnies Ogling Carrots attempt. Looked like it failed, but the email came a few minutes later. So, in short, I'm 2 for 2.

I'll go brace myself against the impending flood of hate mails now.

Had the same errors as above (no lines, etc.), kept with it and eventually reached the Order Status page, then nothing...

THEN CONFIRMATION EMAIL CAME AND ALL WAS FINE

Got this message when I tried to order -

That's what the rules say. You can only place one order on a single day for any particular item. Its kinda like when you order one of something and decide you wanted another- you cant change your order (without emailing woot and asking for help), it'll say you have already ordered this item. For this particular item if you email them for more they'll say "no you greedy bastard share that crap with the other wooters! Be happy you already got one"

I got one the first time,out of 298. Then the receiver, then BOOM! Crap again. I got in again, but it said :your account has already ordered one." This one says over 800 sold.

Assume you didn't and try if it comes up again. The site will prevent you from ordering if you did snag one.

If I have another chance, I've changed over to Paypal payment and hopefully won't continue to get the errors or white pages at each and every step and attempt.

It's one thing to lose out on my end, but if I'm paying attention and speedy and the bags stay up forever and the server can't handle it, then I'm not sticking around.

As wonderful as the extra opportunities are, they are useless to me if the problem is on Woot server's end.

I just kept refreshing & plugging at it over & over again & finally made it to the BIG button & scored! Thanks woot! Made my day! I can be productive for the day now & patiently follow the rest of the woot-off. On that note I can even go OUT for lunch now! Haha! By the way I love the randomness of these craps just like the good ole days! Spreading them throughout the day is awesome! Keep it going this way for the future! Looking forward to April fools! Looks like another round of crap is coming today, so good luck to the rest of you.

The ordering system likely flagged orders as exceeding the number of items offered without flagging the offer as sold out.

Since this is the boc well, waiting in line is likely disabled. The display system (front page) was sending people to the ordering system who then rejected orders based on bad numbers. Someone from Woot caught the mistake, updated the ordering system and suddenly everyone could order again.

It means you were to late and they were already sold out.....

Sadly, I got to the "Order processing" page, but the lack of account update or e-mail notice means I'm in the rejected pool. le sigh. I knew I shouldn't have stood Woot up at the bar that night. But I was young, and nervous, and didn't think I could perform under pressure like that. It was just too much. I'm sorry, Woot, it wasn't you, it was me.

I think you are locked because Woot has cleverly fixed the sale to be one continuous sale instead of multiple individual sales with some buggy cross check scheme.

They seem to now be able to add quantity to the sale after it has closed. Just before this bag came up, the statistics no longer said "person to blame for sell-out" and it did not show 300 had been sold.

Well played woot, these are a bit funner, for those of us with bodily functions and growed up responsibilities that drag us from our beloved shopping site for minutes at a time.

As to browsers and Bunnies Ogling Carrots failure at order confirmation screen, happened to me on Firefox latest version, AND IE 8.
I tried turning Ghostery on/off as well in case some dumbass tracker was to blame.

By the way if you want to know who is all up in your business, Ghostery addon for Firefox is the shiznit. Busts the trackers.
