If you're wondering if the new iPad (iPad "3") has a much superior screen...it doesn't. iPads 1 and 2, which have the same screen, are barely less readable than the latest iPad.

I think this is the iPad 1, which lacks any camera. If that's not a big deal this can be a good buy. BTW, 64GB storage is huge, the only way to fill that is with lots of video.

So we meet again, my woot-off nemesis...

This is about what I paid for my wife's iPad (32GB no 3G) in December 2010. Offensively expensive for such an old and outdated device, having said that, the wife's iPad is humming along very nicely after 15 months of daily use.

I've seen some pretty good deals on the ipad 2 (new/refurbs) lately. I wouldn't jump on this but I understand if you want something NOW.
