Captain Kirk, in any timeline.

#2 Farscape, definitely.
#3 TNG Picard is no Kirk, but he'll do.

The Babylon Project was our last, best hope for peace. It failed. But in the year of the Shadow War, it became something greater: our last, best hope for victory.
The year is 2260. The place - Babylon 5.
[Firefly was awesome too.]

Firefly probably would have been if it had not been cancelled.

Old version, yes. It was ok, but nothing I'd consider even near 'top' or 'best'. Does not hold up over time.
New version, no. Looked like rubbish.

I'm just hanging out, really.

This was a troll poll!

There's no good reason to leave out Battlestar Galactica and Firefly from the options other than to get us all riled up and commenting.

I demand a rematch!

Twilight Zone by a landslide. I can't believe that's not one of the options; honorable mention BSG, Start Trek TNG, X Files, Space 1999 and the Outer Limits. After all, James Cameron got his start ripping off the Outer Limits when he created The Terminator.

V (2009) spent far too much time trying to promote a political agenda to be very effective as entertainment. Plot development was lethargic, and they tried to introduce too many characters at once for any but an avid fan to keep up. Viewers waited a while fot the visitors to actually *do* something, but if they ever did, no one saw it because they gave up watching before it happened.

At least that's how I remember it.
