I really wish they had a DC powered one so I could hook it up directly to solar panels, perhaps one day. The lack of a condensation tank is a very good option, I hate emptying or having to run pluming in order for the water generated in humid environments.
Perhaps [AS] will have a better April Fools Day joke, I liked the Google Map Qwest.

I've been in the market for a new portable AC unit, but it's hard finding ones with lower amp usage. 11.5a, as this one uses, is a lot for many older homes with 15 amp circuits (like mine). Meaning, if you have that thing running you better not have anything else running that sucks up energy (a computer for example).

maybe if we give a quality post about the air conditioner, we get a Bunnies Ogling Carrots..because I feel like this product really can be useful...I wish I had the money for one.
