Looks like their special april fools day thing is that they are not having an april fools day thing.

Last years was a huge headache for them though I'm sure. I'm one of the ones that got screwed over on that game by winning but not being allowed to buy. While others cheated their way through.

I think I need this air conditioner to cool off my temper after there not being any buckets of crabs *frowns*

This looks to be just a refurbished Haier Portable Air Conditioner.

I really wish they had a DC powered one so I could hook it up directly to solar panels, perhaps one day. The lack of a condensation tank is a very good option, I hate emptying or having to run pluming in order for the water generated in humid environments.

Perhaps [AS] will have a better April Fools Day joke, I liked the Google Map Qwest.

I've actually been looking for an affordable windowless AC but a refurbished unit seems like i'm playing a foolish game of roulette with regards to nasty stuff like mold or legionella. anyone have any experience that says I'm paranoid?

Maybe buying one of these will give us 289.89 bags? Not so sure I'm going to test that though.

Also, I think I have this unit already! Looks just like it, except that mine is all black. Works wonderfully.

Not a happy camper here. I got the elusive bag the other day during the woot-off, only the order never went through. (I should've guessed, I was able to "order" a dozen times.)

I've been in the market for a new portable AC unit, but it's hard finding ones with lower amp usage. 11.5a, as this one uses, is a lot for many older homes with 15 amp circuits (like mine). Meaning, if you have that thing running you better not have anything else running that sucks up energy (a computer for example).

maybe if we give a quality post about the air conditioner, we get a Bunnies Ogling Carrots..because I feel like this product really can be useful...I wish I had the money for one.

Refurbished for $304!. These units are less efficient and take up more space than a window unit. If you can use a window unit it is a much better option than this. a 10,000 BTU window unit will cool the same size room as this because it is more efficient.
