We need a "snack time with WOOT" featuring the ever present 3 fingers of whiskey and this awesome WOOT pan.

If I were on the fence before, that would have been the sell point.

I'm just hanging out, really.

You're gonna have to smack them, with the handle sticking up, instead of sideways like a baseball bat. Otherwise it's gonna leave a" _." (OK, try to think of a "!" on its side.)

You can always do it with the handle straight down, and get an "i"

I already own a Lodge 12 inch cast iron skillet, and have no room for a second in my small kitchen.

It is the most uses skillet in my kitchen, and useful for all manner of cooking I would normally do out on a grill.

"Bacon is better on a Lodge."

This is the same price as a regular Lodge 12"er @ Sears, BUT it has the Woot ! on it.

So, yes, I bought one.

I had a cheap Chinese cast iron pan some years ago and it rusted. (Mmmmm, rust) After that, I was done with cheap cookware, as some of the good pans I have are 30+ years old and work like new. (hey, I'm old)

BTW, I agree that good pans don't go in the dishwasher. For one thing, good pans don't need to as they are easy to clean.

I already have two awesome cast iron pans, a great flat pan and a dutch oven. Can you guys work with Lodge again to make this as a griddle pan? Definitely in for at least one!! I'll probably get two and gift one to my brother if this deal happens.

I'd love to see a 7 qt Dutch oven, AND the griddle, both in Woot! motif. The lid from the DO would fit this, too.

I missed the skillet deal! When is it gonna happen again? I especially like the fact that some of the guys working there look like old bikers. My wife loves cast iron cookery. Nothing light weight for her. Its great when you don't have to worry about damaging the stupid plastic/teflon/whatever surface. Especially no more plastic bits in the food.

1)get the pan
2)get a made in the USA Dexter stainless steel spatula for $15
3)fry some bacon (even if you don't eat bacon
4)scrape the pan good while you cook
5)let it cool
6)wipe the bacon debris out with a papertowel
7)hang up until next time (NICE, the "!" will be displayed correctly when hanging by the handle)

do this 2 or 3 times and you'll be done with the seasoning and can cook just about anything and the premium spatula will simultanteously smooth out the new-sh Lodge surface, force bacon grease into the microscopic pits, and free whatever was stuck on.

BAM!

I would say there is a very good chance it will appear in the next Woot-Off next month.

And you will want to keep an eye on Moofi as well.
