Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

(Hopefully) picking up my old C10 pickup with its new high output 350 engine. Barring any last minute issues, she should be cranking up for the first time in about 12 hours.

I guess that means I need to get away from Woot and get some sleep.

May 5th isn't Mexico's independence day.

Probably eating something. I'm originally from New Mexico and the Mexican food there is very yummy. I can't seem to find the same thing here in Colorado. I suppose I will also half-celebrate as I am half Mexican (okay technically a quarter as my Grandmothers family was from Mexico and my Grandfathers from Spain). I probably won't drink much, though, if any. I'm still in trouble from St. Pattys day. My mother's side must have been Irish.

I'm going to eat at a French restaurant and rub it in their faces that they lost to the Mexican's on May 5. Of course, they'll remind me that today France is a much better place to live than Mexico (relative lack of drug murders is a plus).

It's derby here, going to a party of course. Locals don't go to the track.
Maybe celebrate Cinco de Mayo at the second party.

Washed the camper and the truck from the trip for Festival International last weekend. Going to check on the puppy I found along the road Thursday that I brought to the neighbors up the hill. They just happened to be looking for a male Pitt Bull and I almost hit a 6 to 8 week old puppy that ran out in front of me coming home that day. Coincidence???? I think not! Going to a BBQ Party this evening to drink, eat, dance and well just about anything can happen, ya know!?!

I will be putting on my $800 Paul Bond cowboy boots and $200 Stetson and going to a rodeo.

I will be celebrating this fake holiday as a fake cowboy. Here in Arizona, we can wear loaded six-shooters on our hips and it is OK. Weird, but OK.

I have always been bowlegged, so I will fit right in. Head 'em up and move 'em out!!

I now live in New Orleans, but I used to live in Colorado. My favorite New Mex place was in Fort Collins, a little place called Consuelo's. unfortunately, they are no longer in business as far as I know, but they have awesome green chile in the stores around the area labelled as Nanita's Finest.
