I wonder if anyone would notice a probation for overestimating age?

Evening folks.

Dname, yes, I walk sometime around 4:30 to 5am. If I go any later, it starts to get warm and I'm to awake to go to sleep. This gives me time to wind down.

Poof: Egads. Sorry. You know you can alternate Ibuprofin & Tylenol. Take one, then wait a couple hours and take the next one. Then just keep them alternating on their 4-6 hr schedule. You can take up to 4 Ibuprofin or Tylenol at a time as long as your stomach can tolerate it.

Yeah, I have that written down somewhere. So far I'm okay with the four ibuprofen.

In less painful blather.

We have gotten the primary color choice for the soon-to-be LEGO room down to two choices.

bluebell
cloudless

The ceiling will be this color, and for now the walls, but we are planning on covering the walls with posters and old calendar pages - but the blue will be underneath that. Eventually, I might go in and take the posters down and put up murals.

Finally caught up with the DVR.
Mom day, then visit hubby in the hospital tomorrow.

Mom day is mammogram day for her. It takes months to get an appt at this place. No changing it. Although we don't know what , if anything, she would do at her age if the cancer returns. Somehow all she did was have her breast removed. Nothing else. No chemo, no radiation, no pills.

Don't know if I'll stay for all of visiting. After all, if things go well, he won't be sick.

Not sure I explained it here....Hubby needs a hernia operation. Waited until it was slower at work. Waited more than a year. It is scheduled for the end of the month.

Hubby also was wondering about an operation for his A fib, which is bad at times.
He went to the specialist for that.
That doctor said, he was a good candidate for the operation, but there was one more new drug that hubby never tried.

If it works, maybe hubby will get another few years and the operation will be even better. This operation was experimental when hubby started having heart trouble over 10 years ago.

Also...if the A fib is acting up, either on the per op day for the hernia, or the day of the hernia operation itself, the operation will be canceled.

So the heart doctor wanted to try the new drug soon.
Oddly the drug was only approved if the patient is monitored in the hospital when they start it for a day or two.
Dr feels it is no more dangerous than any other drug, but that is how it was approved.
Since hubby has tried all the other drugs for the condition and none worked all that well, he was approved to try it.

Goes to the hospital tomorrow.

If the drug doesn't work, I think the heart specialist might do the heart operation before the hernia is scheduled...but maybe the hernia will have to be pushed back a week or two.

So, basically, hubby will be in the hospital for at least a week in total this month.

Now, who is going to tell Rusty why I'm not home????

Thanks for the thoughts on the blues. The room kinda has wonky light, so we had all these samples taped to the ceiling and went in there at different times to make marks of favorites.

I'd post the living room color, which is the adjacent room, but it looks completely wrong on the computer. It doesn't matter too much as the door has a 13" frame between the rooms and that is the only way to see in the room anyway.

Dname - thanks for spelling that all out. I hope tomorrow goes well for you.

I guess I best get to wrapping up my code so it can go into storage before handing it off to some mystery grad student next winter.

Two reasons for "baby blue"

1) a darker blue would make the room feel too small, especially on the low ceiling.

2) we are playing with the idea of putting clouds on the blue when we mural up the room in the future, so blue is kinda necessary.
