Sounds like a good way to go. Taking a ride in the car with her people.

No problems. Ate a little earlier than planned because storms were forecast and it got really black and windy, but we had about 10 drops. Ended up with 14. I wish people would let me know when they've changed their minds.

Good evening.

Only read back a page, but glad your dog is at peace Joyner. Hugs to you and your family.

D'name, did son and girlfriend have any problems getting back home last night?

I have photos for you but don't remember how to be able to take them from my personal downloads and paste them here. I only know how to pull up googles images and copy the urls into woot. How do you post your dog pics?

Edit: Poof, did you have enough meat or did grandmom opt to not eat meat so extra two guest could?

Had plenty, but I'm terrible at being able to judge. Especially because I have some big eaters and then, conversely, some nibblers.

That's good.

It's usually just the dinner foods I get annoyed with when extra people show up because it can come close sometimes.

But with the desserts I've found that if extra show up unannounced that as long as I put some snacks out with the desserts that many times some of the kids opt for the snacks instead so it works out.

edit: Night Poof

Joyner, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog.

I think I've adjusted to this time zone... I'm ready for bed, not such a horrible thing since we have to be up and out early tomorrow AM, but it's going to be harder driving into the setting sun for a couple days.

Goodnight woot, see you in a couple days.

Good morning everybody! As much as we will miss Cookie, it was wonderful to not have to get up with her in the middle of the night.

Today we have to do some repair work on our TV. The storm tore something on the dõock and blew out some of the un
derpinning.
Edit; recreational vehicle not television. So I haven't fixed the auto correct!

Morning all. Saw Spider-Man yesterday with bro. We both really liked it.

Son and I just returned from a trip to Waffle House and Walmart. Grocery shopping is done for the week.

Have a tolerable Monday.

Good morning all, reading back..
There are thousands of pictures. I'll let you know when they are pared down to a managable few. Eva is so sweet and she has developed such a personality She loves to smile for her Gramps.

Joyner I'm so sorry to read your dog passed, at least it was with the ones who it loved.

Klozit, I hope you made it to the west coast ok.

Yesterday started out great until we got to the airport, it was one debaucle after another. it's a long story but in the end we have made it home safely. I'm still kinda too pissed off to go into it in detail.

Good morning! They're predicting high 70s/low 80s this week here. Doesn't look like it'll dip too low in the evening either (50s) which should make going out very enjoyable. Summer's here (at least for a few weeks)!

The running of the bulls was today.
Some of those guys showed up in the bull fighting stadium way before the animals.
They were done before the bulls were released!

Why don't we do that?
Spend a few days drinking and doing stupid stuff, like running in front of a thousand pound animal. With horns. That may know it will be killed that day.

I wonder where my wine thing went?
It worked great. Don't know why it didn't catch on here.

Pamplona
You get yourself a wine skin full of wine and some sort of dried meat, like a salami.
Then you are set for the week.

You chew off chunks of meat and drink wine for a week.

If you see any american teenage girls, you offer your salami....no, not that, get your mind out of the gutter....and a slug of wine.
Well, if you are lucky and the girls weren't traveling with nuns, maybe you might share the other salami. Didn't happen to us.

That was the oddest part of the entire trip. We were staying in a convent outside the city.
The city was the wildest thing we ever saw. The convent was the most peaceful place I have ever been.

Only big traveling I've ever done. Great trip. I wonder where the pictures are?
