Haha, yes. And I actually was able to jump out of bed, run into the living room and score one for my boyfriend. I got one last time so it was his turn.

And Larry- it could be anything. That's what makes it so awesome. It is always worth the $8..even in the joy of anticipation alone.

The stuff that woot used to sell that kept me up during a wootoff seems long gone. It's more rare now that an item is too interesting to pass up. I think it was the Bay of Roombas Invasion that marks the tipping point...

Let me rephrase the third option:

"They used to, but woot offs are too cruddy for that now"

This needs a "well, technically no because I work the night shift" option.

Its kept me at work late, too, since a Bundles of Clones#39;s come up just at the end of the day.

I used to loose sleep over it. Then Woot Offs got boring because they have high priced items one right after the other (TV, Tablet, Roomba, Computer, etc.) so they are so slow now. I liked the crazy $10-$30 gadgets or gift ideas, but those seem few and far between.

I've also gotten 3 Bundles of Clones and none of them have been worth the $8 I spent. One had a shirt no one in our house could where, 4 grocery tote bags that fell apart in one use, a Woot monkey (which I kept because the cats love them), and 6 headphone splitters so you can hook two headphones into one device which I'll never need one let alone 6 (ended up throwing them out since I couldn't even get rid of them for free). I don't find them mysterious or fun anymore, but my husband does. I won't even try for a Bundles of Clones unless it falls into my lap (have the Woot Tracker up, so if it hits on a Bundles of Clones and gets me to the Buy page I will get one).

I guess the $8 Bundle of Clones has replaced the $5 Brick of Carbonite. Inflation!

Yes! It's always "Just one more item then I'll go to bed" I'll get distracted then when I check back the "one more item" is almost over so I'll wait for that to end, then it starts all over again.

Extreme seconded. I don't know if Woot just ran out of good companies to sell off fun and interesting tech items from, but I don't even pay attention to W00t-offs anymore. I check W00t once a day from work just for the hell of it. The shirt.w00t offerings are decent sometimes.

It hasn't made me stay up late but it does have am impact on my productivity at work....

Used to stay up in shifts with friends in college. Moving out of the dorms changed that. Ah, the good old days, with penny screwdriver packs.

Not anymore. Woot used to occasionally throw in something really cool every few hours or so just to keep people interested (like a few iPod's that were $200 off retail), but now it just seems like like an endless stream of refurbished Roomba's and HP products.

They used to but I am too broke to do it now!

Woot-offs have gotten pretty l@me lately. My Z's are worth more than a dyson.

Woot offs just dont seem to be what they used to be.

you guys are missing an option. it's the one that goes: "They used to, but now they mostly suck."

One more hour and half FINALLY I can get some sleep!!

They used to be awesome, you know back before they sold out.

I save even more money by not buying cheap crap!

ETA: And Woot's obviously run by philistines who don't recognize that ALL my posts are quality.
