I think the watch is a good unique item so far.

I think the watch made it worth it. Even though they are such a marked up item. I mean look at Amazon
List Price: $495.00
Price: $39.80 FREE Super Saver Shipping

Congrats!

Thanks! It is huge and covers the entire wrist!!!! My day started with the Oncologist calling to say they wanted a biopsy. It ended with this. Woot Win! I am smiling ear to ear!

Mine made it to my post office at 1:45 today.
That means I should have it by Monday....Tuesday at the latest.
That is how long it will take my scaredy catic postman to kick it from the post office to my door!

Last week my Woot! shirt was out for delivery for 5 days till I got it.
He also enclosed mail from several of my fellow Anaheimeans (or is it Anaheimites?) as a bonus! (this is a common occurrence)
I delivered them for him. Bills, court notices, and bank statements.
I love doing his work and not getting payed.

First, WOOT! I love you BUT...

One of my items, a SH-647C "Alarm Clock Calculator with Calendar" which is shaped like a cell phone, came with a corroded battery with acid powder all over it. I am glad I opened the battery compartment, it appeared fine otherwise, because I was about to give it to a friend's kid just to use as a 'fake phone'. I'm all for getting broke crap in my crap, I've received plenty of broken crap before, but seriously there should be some kind of check to make sure what you are sending out is not a safety hazard. What if I didn't get this and a kid opened it instead, it looks like a toy cell phone.

With that out of the way, every other item I received was NOT CRAP and is actually being used! Yay!

1 XL Brown Tee Shirt that fits me!
1 Pair EZ-Sox my Nephew took right away and put on.
1 TOTALLY AWESOME CHUCK NORRIS PLUSH, in my car back window now!
    1 Reusable Bag
    1 Woot 2012 Calendar
    2 Snap Straws
1 logitech Playgear Skin Kit (I actually have a playgear case for my PSP and can use this!)
1 SH-647 Alarm Clock with Calculator/Calendar with bonus leaking battery acid.

I've never received more than one returned item in a BOG, and usually don't receive any returned items. That being said I'm not complaining about receiving a broke item, I know I will get some and have no problem with my Crap being Crap.

You don't think in this day in age that if this was sent to the wrong person, and especially if someone (a child likely) was hurt or poisoned by it, they wouldn't make a legal issue for woot!? I like woot! and wouldn't want this to happen which is why I brought this up. The box was not labeled hazardous, the product didn't say not for children, etc. I don't think woot! has a disclaimer anywhere stating that Bouts of Consternation#39;s may contain corroded batteries (poison) and to keep away from children, perhaps they do and I missed it? I've seen many youtube Bouts of Consternation unboxing videos where kids open the box and run off with the stuff. This was a perfect storm item, a completely useless product that looks like a toy phone and felt like it was just a plastic case, something people could very easily throw to their kids to play with. I wouldn't have done that with the broke weather station I received last Bouts of Consternation

If woot! doesn't think this is an issue then they don't have to do anything about it in the future, that is for them to decide, but at least they know this could be an issue and can protect themselves, and perhaps this can be a warning to others who may let their kids run off with Bouts of Consternation items in the future without thoroughly inspecting them.

Sorry, I was over estimating. For all you know the battery exploded when it was in a hot fed ex truck, it's honestly nothing to freak out over and it isn't that horrible...You did your job as an adult and inspected the item, clean it up and it'll be fine...

This will be my 4th Bouts of Consternation. I have definitely gotten returns/non-functional items in previous Bandoliers of Carrots. However, I was able to repair them.

I was still grateful for the crap I got.

I believe that is a commandment somewhere...
