I picked up two bags of these a couple months ago from woot!...

Not to play golf... but for the fire department. We can use them if we are in a dark/smokey environment and get lost. We throw one... and can gauge the distance to the wall/window. If we don't hear it hit anything... we know it is too far and throw one in another direction.

Yep... one really has balls to go into a burning building. ;)

I don't have the balls to buy this...

I buy recycled balls from the clubhouse at my favorite course, and I don't see much difference in quality, if any, between them and refurbished balls. Then again, my handicap is 25, so I may not be the best judge...

But that's probably where these came from...

in for 1, hope the schweatty balls come up soon i keep missing those. nothing like having someone ask "hey is this your ball" and your perfectly witin reason to say "no mine are the schweatty balls"

I know nothing about golf, but I'm so tempted to buy this just for the fun of shaking the box when it comes to my doorstep.

I keep a bunch of these in my bag for friends that never have extras when they drop into the water hazards. Are they good? No, but at least I don't lose my good ones.

In for 3, I happen to think it's a great deal. Especially for those of us who tend to lose one or two or 40 balls during a round of golf :-)

The balls in the image look like garbage (Ultra/Wilson) I don't need range balls, good deal for a newbie though.

My luck I'd get an autographed Tiger Woods ball in the bunch.I'd have to throw it back.
Now it's a 47 pack, because I'd have a defect.

if somone is going to pay 48 dollars for a dozen warbirds, or pro v1, let them... im no pro, but if your trying to work on your game and your having ball control issues, why would you want to go digging thru a swamp or the woods or someones back yard looking for a 5 dollar golf ball. for the fair weather golfer, why would you spend a crapload of money and be pissed when you lose a ball, when u can just finish your scramble game and say Noooooooo it, use Toms shot.

I'm new to golf and enjoying going out and playing with friends this summer. Excited to get some balls for cheap since I'm not skilled enough to need better balls.

way back in my youth while I was at a local lake shooting one of my .22's, I balanced a golfball I found on the end of my rifle and fired it straight into the air.

be damned if that thing didn't take about 30 seconds to come back down on the trunk of my '85 monte carlo,,,,,the guy I sold the car to asked me why the dent on the trunk had golfball dimples in it,,,,had to tell the story.

this woot makes me wanna relive those good times, maybe a modified potato cannon....

smart, this is way cheaper than wal mart or any "recycled" youll get from your pro shop

Received mine a few days ago. I was disappointed in the quality, not nearly as good of condition compared to recycled balls I usually pick up at the sporting goods store.
won't make that mistake again...
