Good Idea!!! I'll call all my friends and tell them to order 3 and we can have dogfights too!

This one is probably a cheap knockoff from who knows where, the engrish in the manual is comical. It's also "the one that flies in the wind"...

crypto1701 wrote:Now that's more like it! What's the battery life on that one (fly time)?
I get about 5 - 7 minutes. Comes with two batteries, and they're pretty cheap (like 3-10 depending where and how many you buy).
OverloadUT wrote:How hard is it to learn to fly with a single rotor? Or does the gyro make it feel mostly the same?
Not too bad. 4 axis definitely takes getting used to. If you end up buying one, I wouldn't start indoors with it. I'd take it to a field or a baseball diamond on a still day.
I bought this for my husband...just got it out of the box (which has already been thrown away) and it doesn't work. Lights on the helicopter come on and the light on the remote comes on....Any suggestions??

I see that you've already emailed in. We'll help you out.
I should've researched this better. I thought this was the Syma S107, which is well-reviewed. Turns out it's actually a knock-off by somebody called World Tech Toys. I ordered this in May, but didn't break it out until today (my son's birthday). The instructions don't match with the actual product in any way, shape or form...and the helicopter itself won't even lift off the ground! In short, it's a piece of crap. Luckily, the real deal (Syma) is only a few bucks more at Amazon. This one's going in the garbage, and my son will have something descent in just a couple days. Buyer beware!
Absolute crap! Threw good money after bad when the first one wouldn't work - paid for return shipping and got a replacement. THAT one only worked for a day. It's even too light to be a good paperweight!
i've replaced the wings & the legs are broken.. the wind plays tricks on it.. but for an indoor toy.. its a superb ice breaker.
bought this for my son for christmas. took it out of the box. read the directions. does not work. disappointed kid. annoyed mother. Don't recommend. also bought one for a raffle table. sure hope that one worked or I am annoyed and embarrassed.

I'm sorry to hear that you experienced an issue with your order. We normally recommend that you contact the manufacturer when encountering these kinds of issues, however it appears that there is no World Tech Toys support page/phone contact number. I recommend that you write into Woot Member Services at support@woot.com or using the Support Tab at the top of the site to report this problem. Woot Member Services will be more than happy to help assist you with finding a remedy.
