Pshaw: I'm playing Diablo III on my 65" TV in my living room on my overclocked HTPC. Yeah, I'm bad...

Be careful when buying a VIZIO.

Always good to have a TV around that has the old AV hookups, you never know when you will get the urge to bust out the old game systems and you will want to be ready. Pretty decent screen size to relive Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64.

I don't, haven't been able to afford a single LCD tv, even one this small. Still rocking the CRT standard definition TV's older then I am, and can't afford this one either over the bills.

Also for Diablo 3 you would be better off using the 1080p monitor on sellout.woot.com today, the quality is more important then the size for video games.

Actually it is $5 less at walmart once you factor in free shipping.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Vizio. I have a 32" and a 42" that have been going strong for 6 and 5 years respectively. Great picture and plenty of features for the price.

I don't want to keep downplaying this one, but the reviews on the refurbished models of this particular one have a higher than normal failure rate.

That being said, it is a pretty good deal overall. It actually ends up being slightly less than wallyworld as I won't get charged tax.

Ok, I have an issue with TV Prices.

6 Months ago my wife bought a New Vizio 32" 1080p LED TV for $250.00.

Now this one, refurbed, LCD, 720p is $219? Does that make any sense?

You are suppose to pay the sales tax on all internet purchases. Usually paid when you file your tax return. So techincally that shouldn't be a "savings". But I heard there are some (read as 99%) people that choose not to inform the state of their online purchases.

The official term is Use Tax.

Being that I'm in NY, I get charged tax here.

I purchased a 37" Vizio from Woot over 2 years ago. It has good sound and picture and with it hooked up to my PC (Professor O'Blivion only watches internet television on his television) I can play Diablo 3 in all its glory.
I'd recommend Vizio based on my experience and seeing as I paid $380 for my 37" 1080p I think this model seems reasonably priced...

Not ALL states do this. Only like...4 or 5.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sales_taxes_in_the_United_States

I typed the word "Online" In my find bar and it came up 8 times, and a couple were the same state just using the word Online more than once.

I have a Vizio 47" 1080p LCD HD TV and its FANTASTIC! I'm planning on getting the same size, same brand, in 3D, but I'm wanting to get a few other things out of the way first.

My point being, even though this is a discount brand, they are not discount quality and they are not discount support. I have been VERY pleased with my TV and so has everyone who's come over. Even without my prompting, its never not received a compliment on the picture the first time someone sees it.

(Of course, running Despicable Me on it in Blu Ray shows it off exceptionally well too.)

EDIT: Never mind for some reason I thought you mentioned Ohio. I can't Read.

As someone mentioned it is called the use tax. But same idea. This is from the Ohio Department of taxation

If the seller is not located in Ohio and does not have substantial nexus with Ohio, the seller cannot be required to collect and remit Ohio use tax. However, the purchaser will still owe Ohio use tax on the purchase of goods or services, unless the purchaser has a statutory basis for claiming exception or exemption.
