I bought one of these about 18 months ago for a friend. It's still working really well.

Bought mine only a few months ago, though it doesn't get used as much as other people might use theirs. I love it, it's a great set for what I paid for it, and that's near to woot's price.

That is a 720p TV and only has a 90 day warranty according to your post. This TV has a 6 month warranty and is 1080p.

Warranty: 6 Month Amergence

6 months is decent, not the usual 90 day on refurbs. I don't know Amergence warranties though. Still better than most.

i just seen a 40" 1080p earlier somewhere for 299. Wish I would have caught the brand so I could compare them.
I want a good led 50-70 for the bedroom. But Can't afford the new pricing haha.
I paid 400 for my 40" in 2007. New

While we're waiting for this pile of Vizio to sell, since the Plantronics Bluetooth earpiece just before this sold out so fast, I'm offering a comment on it to anyone who may see that deal again: it's a great headset at twice that price. Highly recommended if you get another chance at it.

Make sure you ground the TV antenna through a power strip or something. The first one I purchased got fried about a week after I bought it. Thankfully a store receipt allowed me to return it, then i bought the protection plan on the new one This one hasn't given me any more trouble, and I've had it for a little over a year!

Interesting. Is Vizio considered a white trash retailer?

Only thing I don't like is there are only 2 HDMI ports.

I have the smaller version of the same TV. Best TV I've ever purchased. This is NOT a scam - it really is a great TV at an unbelievable price.

Vizio is actually my brand of choice, I have a 55" of the same caliber in my living room with a 3rd HDMI on the side.

I've been camping woot offs for a more modest size to replace my RCA CRT in the bedroom. I've been disappointed thusfar.
