I am so confused and excited, like a puppy meeting strangers for the first time...hope I don't piddle on the carpet. Woot-offs are probably going to blow my mind.

A 17" refurb with a netbook processor, 90-day warranty, and low-DPI screen. A good deal for folks wanting a large screen and only need to do basic tasks like low-intensity web surfing, Skyping, and basic MS Office work. Not good for multitaskers, gamers, or users who need portability in a laptop.

Now this page, I REALLY like. Yes, it is a tad on the bright side, and I personally prefer the columns reversed. But that's my hang up and I totally dig how either way is perfectly fine.

This page looks clean, has all the details right up front, and isn't busy or cluttered. THIS is a good page! and good or mobile viewing as well, even with the side scrolling.

Busy. So very, very busy. And to get the important information, item condition and the item description, you have to click off the main page.

why take a nice simple layout and make it 200% more complicated and over the top....woots went down hill since the buyout

Love the overall "look", like the side stuff. Hate the clutter. Miss the description being on the same page. Kind of like it was designed by a committee.

Why...back in my day...there was only ONE WOOT A DAY. Wasn't no...fancy-shmancy shirt woot or kids woot and the like. No sirree. PTOOEY. We had ONE Woot. And we liked it. Or we didn't. But it was all we had...so we made the best of it. Or complained. Like WHINING BABIES when there was something we didn't want. But we survived. Why, we had to walk uphill both ways barefoot in the snow to get to our mailbox to pick up what we had Woot-ed. And we LIKED IT, BY GUM. We...liked it.

I love change but this SUCKS! Even the woots have turned to $#@@#.

Hate to say it but Woot is morphing into its own bag-o-crap. Home page too busy - Keep it simple.

Seems like information overload. By the time I focus on what's being sold, the Bouts of Consternation will be gone.

Guess I just have to retrain my eyes.

But, the notebook is tempting....

I think the All You Can Ship feature that Woot has going on right now pretty much makes up for the lack of a Bunch of Change to christen the new site.

Also just inadvertently noticed that the actual sale pages stay up, with the prices. Nice!

My only criticism so far is that the write-ups seem less prominent now, it's harder to get to item specs and condition now.

I like the Woot plus, side sales on Woot itself are welcome. I just bought a new Camelback last week though!

The redesign kind of reminds me of what eBay did a few years back, when they first added tabs for Description, Shipping, Return Policy, etc. Most sites do it this way now though, so it's not so bad.

Not much change to the order process, still the same number of clicks. Everything is there.

They could have made the 1st offering with their new look a LOT better... This is crap.

I love how none of the comments are about the laptop, they're all about Woot's new (beta) layout.

deals.woot almost looks exactly the way it used to.
