Items typically ship within 5 business days, often sooner. Shipping can take 5-7 days, often quicker.

If you are outside the US, please know that only Shirt can ship outside the 48 continental states. International shipping of shirts can take 2-4 weeks depending on the location.

Estimated arrival is tomorrow for me. Paid for two day shipping, but item isn't in the SHIPPED status yet...still awaiting packing or something.

Just got mine in the mail. I plugged it in and it turned on and started charging. The touchscreen isn't working. Only the buttons work. Is there a way to unlock it or do I have a dud? Also, a small scratch was on the screen out of the box. There isn't a manual.

If its a dud, how do I start with warranty or return? Woot says to work with the manufacturer. I've never done that. How do I initiate it? Thanks!

In for one, once my husband saw it up. He's hoping to use it as a schematic reader when he's up tower. (Wind Turbine Tech) Currently he uses his iphone for all of that.

Hopefully it'll work well for his needs. He said the HP Touchpad is too big for his needs, so this should be perfect.

What's up with Woot being non-responsive to cancellation requests, and slow shipping? I requested a cancel of this item at least two days ago (It shipped today) and I have a t-shirt that I ordered on 5/22 that hasn't shipped yet.

I got mine today. Touchscreen did not work out of the box, but the buttons did. Battery was completely discharged. I charged it for an hour or so. Then reset it. Screen came to life. It was very unresponsive at first. Now it seems to be working better although it is certainly not the best touchscreen.

The back plastic casing was partially off. Not surprising since its a refurb. I popped it back on with no issues.

There is a camera but no app to use it, as far as I can tell. Neither Skype nor Netflix installed. No surprise but I was still hoping.

I installed Kid Mode for my toddler and it is an impressive app which is perfect since this is his birthday present.

As long as there are no more issues with this gadget, I'll be satisfied for the price.

UPDATE:

After hours of work, I cannot get .mp4 videos to play. There seems to be a problem with the video cable or screen since a line of pixels consistently dies. I'm strongly considering returning this because of these disappointments. I thought for sure the device would be more versatile than a LeapFrog tablet for my son, but I may have been wrong.

Edited again:
I finally got movies to play. I used MPEG-4 on Handbrake to encode. I tried numerous programs using H.264 and none worked. I'm just thrilled I got the movies loaded.

The Kid Mode app and ability to watch movies makes this thing well worth the $50 for my kid's birthday present, despite all the quirks.

I wish I could get Adobe Flash. Anyone able to install it?

Got mine last night. Battery deader than a doornail. After charging it worked fine but sometimes the touch screen lags and you have to click again. Installed Google Play store and it crashes upon opening, so thats a bust. The Amazon app store works fine but i want to get PDA Net Tablet running on it so I can tether through my phone. After playing with it today i find that the google crash is real annoying and I can't get Hulu to work on the webpage nor to install the APP.

This tablet works best as a E Reader and light browser with a few games. Its perfect for your kids to mess with and not too bad for the price.

I do want to find a lighter ROM that does not have a lot of bloatware installed

Does anyone have a link to some light ROMs for this tablet/Ereader?

Any links will help.

Hope this helps everyone and Thanks for anyone that can send me a link to a good lightweight ROM.

There is no camera. That is an LED light for when you charge it or connect via USB. Yes, it said on Woot and on the website that it had a camera. I called them and they changed the website and then were extraordinarily rude to me. I have a screenshot of where it said, on their website, that it had a camera. Skype wont install - theres no mic. Netflix is too heavy of a program to install. Flash is not compatible, I did everything I could and it won't.

And to those who had it dead on arrival -- I ordered mine 2 day shipping and it came with 50% battery life and worked fine. Its a bit on the weird side sometimes when you touch the screen, but it works fine. Get your apps from freewarelovers.com/android. If you go to the cruz market you will see this link a bunch. They have the most compatible, free apps for this device as any other place. Google play will not work, and neither will appbrain or getjar. Freewarelovers does work. Also if you have a compatible .apk you can put in under /downloads on the sd card and it will work.

No apps that require a camera, GPS, or a microphone will work. Any app that uses Google will not work until the java problem is solved. Hope these little hints help you guys out. Wish this stupid thing had a camera. I am very very angry about that, as their website itself and woot said it had a camera. They were very rude when I brought this up...

Even for $50 this tablet is barely worth it. The browser shutsdown with google.com or any site that has google related scripts ( which is most of the web ). The maker Velocitymicro doesn't give a crap. Here is their response: "The update Google has implemented to their search engine isn't compatible to the T100 series hardware. The device is a legacy model." Basically, buyer beware. If you want a large mp3 player, pdf viewer, etc, then it's worth $50 bucks, if you want to browse the web forget about it.

i received it today and i'm returning it tomorrow. it states android tablet, but doesn't have google play app store. can't download any apps you would be able to normally download on an android system. when trying to surf the net, the page won't load and sends you back to the search page where you originally typed in your query. NOT good. this is the first time i've been disappointed with the products from woot. BOO.

Well, I was excited to get this device today... Big letdown when I found out that the touchscreen was completely unresponsive to any gestures. The bottom buttons work fine, but the touchscreen does not. Was hoping that Woot would do me right on my first purchase from them... Let's see what happens from here.

Thought mine was DOA. Read the forum to see what was up. Charging didn't seem to make a difference.

(1). Hit the reset with the paperclip. That did the trick for start up.

(2). Since I had read the forum and poked about the Velocitymicro site, I upgraded the firmware immediately: http://cruzsupport.velocitymicro.com/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=844

(3). I followed lvennard's advice and did the google workaround and turned off Java: http://cruzsupport.velocitymicro.com/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=1074

(4). I re-enabled Java, since it didn't seem to make any difference.

(5). I read the User Guide: http://cruzsupport.velocitymicro.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=5758 Not much useful info, but a little.

(6). I noticed that if I need to get factory service Velocity Micro will only pay for shipping to them for 14 days: http://cruzsupport.velocitymicro.com/link/portal/5462/5758/Article/1023/Who-pays-for-shipping-for-warranty-service

I am thrilled to be able to check my yahoo mail in the browser, since the app for yahoo mail refuses to delete mail on my EVO. Have not played with gmail or google docs yet. Crossing my fingers. Documents, email and perhaps ereading, will be my primary focus for this puppy. (Ok. Just a little texting and Facebook, now and then ;-).) I set a bad example at school if I do these things on my phone, but no one is going to give me grief for using this in my classrooms!

Now, it works just fine, but I need to learn how to drive it!

Just a follow up to my earlier comment that the touchscreen didn't work. Woot did send me a replacement which works fine.

As far as the original one, after I reset it a few times the touchschreen started working, but every once in a while it would do the same thing and I'd have to reset it a few times. I honestly think it is a software/firmware issue.

As far as Google Play, you can root the device and add Google play. It works well. I used one of the links in an earlier comment to get the rooting directions. I hope this helps someone.

Thank you woot for the great customer service and quick response/turnaround time!

You know, I'm kinda ticked off, that Woot! advertised a camera, (which is the MAJOR reason I got it) and this didn't come with the advertisd camera.

Is this a returnable instance?

Anyone have problems with delivery? It was sent FedEx Post. I'm in the suburbs of Chicago and the tracking said it will be here on 6/6. Tracking says it was delivered (to post office). I always order standard ground with UPS and FedEx because it will often come in two days anyway.

From the sounds of the other posts, I probably should hope it gets lost.
