I have a bunch of the ladders and everyone loves them. We have the select step also in fiberglass. The slect step is the same weight as a normal A frame ladder and does a whole lot more. The guys fight over who gets to use this one

Yeah - I have that one too - and the fact that it works A frame and extension makes it more versatile.

good ladders but the regular price is NOT $327.00. More like $229.00.

I have one like that, too... maybe that exact one (extension/a-frame combo, not the one Woot is selling). And I also have a simple A-frame ladder, which I prefer in most situations. Also, I don't think the extension/a-frame combo ladders make very good extension ladders because they are very difficult to maneuver when fully extended due to the weight. They also can be dangerous if you're stepping off the ladder and onto a roof, because of play in the hinge. (See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xq21604pi1U)

This ladder Woot is selling looks like it might be a nice replacement for my A-frame, but it's too expensive for something I don't really need.

I think this is the most oxymoronically named product of all time!

I was thinking of spending a bit more money and getting the select 6-10" ladder. It is around $229. Figure the extra height may come in handy sometime. Thoughts for those that use ladders often?

I just received my ladder today, and I must say I am very disappointed with Woot!. I have bought over 30 woots and this is the first problem I have ever encountered. The ladder was listed as new, however the ladder I was sent is either a refurb or a display model. I do not believe that LittleGiant would have sold this ladder as "new".

The ladder has several scratches and scuffs on the aluminum, the handle on the back is broken in two places, and the paint tray shows signs of wear.

The scratches and wear on the aluminum would be ok if this were a refurb, but this was not supposed to be the case. The broken handle is unacceptable in either case, because it allows the back of the ladder to be adjusted.

Does anyone else have this problem?
I hope Woot! will refund my money or send me a NEW ladder.

Just opened the box (I know, I should've opened it earlier, but the weather has been crappy). This is NOT a new ladder. It is COVERED with handprints, it has dirt crusted into the grooves on the feet and is coated along the sides with some white residue that resembles what washes out of a paint brush!

Wine may not heal all things, but it sure will make you feel a whole lot better.
